-Maddie's POV-

This can't be happening.

Josh and I have been through so much together, and in the end we fought for each other. I ran after Josh as he was walking out if the house. I ran in front if him so he couldn't leave.

"Maddie don't make this more difficult" he said.

"I'm not leaving you. It's not ending like this. Whatever it is we can get through it together."

"I need to keep you safe." he said grabbing my shoulders.

"Then why can't you keep me safe from whatever is trying to hurt me, while were still together."

"Because, I'm not always here Maddie. You don't understand. I'm not always with you, I'm not in all your classes, I'm not always with you after school."

"What happened?"

"Your ex boyfriend happened Mads."

-Ben's POV-

"Hello?" I spoke answering my phone.

"Hey......um......Ben?" it was Maddie. She sounded like she was ready to cry, but there was also a hint if anger in her voice.

"Ya?" I asked. Any word could throw off Maddie when she was sad.

"Do you know where Emma is? I've been calling her, but she isn't answering."

"I was just with her, she should be on her way home."

"Alright" Just as she was about to hang up, I did what I had to do.

"Hey Mads, are you okay?"

"Um, not really. I just need to talk to someone, and my parents aren't home."

"You can talk to me. What happened?"

"Josh broke up with me" she screamed in the phone before sobbing, then the line went dead.

Women these days.

-Emma's POV-

"I'm not going to hurt you."

"Mmhmmflmmmm" I tried to speak. Stupid duct tape.

The voice sounded familiar. But I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

I was just arriving at my house, pulling my books out of the back seat, then someone grabbed my waist, and covered my mouth and eyes. I kicked and wiggled, but it was no use.
