-Maddie's POV-

Josh.

Was all I thought. Quickly I pulled away from the kiss. What was I thinking? Why was I so stupid, I can't believe I kissed him. And I liked it.

As I noticed he was infront of me looking down at me, for once I felt complete. I ran. I ran out if my room to the bathroom downstairs.

-Dylan's POV-

She just ran. After the best kiss I've ever had, she just ran away. I ran after he calling her name, but she didn't stop, she just kept going. I gave up and went to tell Emma how it went. Why was I so stupid?

-Maddie's POV-

As I heard the front door shut, I wandered out of the bathroom, to the front door, I slowly opened it. Then I heard mumbleing.

"Emma, I really love her, I just can't believe how big of an a**whole I am." That's where he is wrong, Tom wins that category.

"No you aren't, she just got scared-" but she got cut off.

"No, it was me, I can't believe I thought this could work, how-"

"I can" I said softly just so they could hear me. "Maddie." he spoke softly.

"Wow, the grass looks dry, I'm gonna go water it." Emma spoke. I let out a little giggle.

"What's so funny?" Dylan asked.

"We have automatic sprinklers." I spoke softly, still giggling.

"Oh" he said.

He took a step towards me, I didn't move back. As soon as we made eye contact, he softly placed his hands on my hips.

He dropped his head down, and crashed his lips onto mine. I kissed him back, and he tilted his head to deepen the kiss.

As soon as we both pulled away, the sprinklers came on, dropping little drops of water all over our bodies.

We didn't even care, we just stood there, my head nusled into his neck, as he held my close. We just stood there like dorks in the sprinklers, not even caring.

-The next day-

Last night was now one of the best nights of my life, I just didn't know what I was going to tell Josh, because I was not going to cheat. (A little too late). I had no idea who to choose.

"Ring" the doorbell went. I went to answer it, I saw Tom.

"Hey, Mads" he spoke, welcoming himself into my home. "What do you want Tom?" I asked.

"I think you should be asking me that question, you see I did a little research on you friend, Josh. Turns out, when he was 15 he hit a little boy, and drove away. Does this boy look familiar?"

Oh s**t.

No.

No.

He was holding up a picture of my 7 year old brother. He got hit by a car when playing in the street, he died.
