Chapter 23

-Emma's POV-

It has been a 3 weeks since Ben and I got together. We still haven't told anyone, and I don't think we plan on it either. We have a hard time keeping it on the down low in public. I just want to kiss him when he does something cute. And later today, we are going on a date to the drive in movies. I can already tell it will be a lot of fun.

-Maddie's POV-

So later today, Josh is going to take me on a date, but I don't know where. He wouldn't tell me though.

-Later that day (Maddie's POV)-

I was in Josh's car, and not being able to look out the window. Oh, that because he freakin blind folded me!
Ya, I'm not the kind of person that enjoys suprises.

"We're here" spoke a perky Josh.

"Just take the blindfold off"

As soon as he took off the blind fold, I saw that we were at a drive-in movie. Cool! I've never been to one of these things before.

"We're seeing the movie Incideous 2"

"Wow. Your mean" I said sarcastically.

The movie was starting to begin, so Josh went to go get some popcorn.

All throughout the movie, I held onto Josh for dear life. I hate scary movies, and whenever I watch one, I always freak out. Ya, I know, I'm a wimp, but a proud wimp!

When the movie was over, I went to go throw away our trash, but I saw a familiar car. It looked like Ben's.

I got closer to see, and I saw Ben kidding a girl. Why didn't he tell me this? I got even closer to where I was literally only 5 feet away.

OMG.....

Is that Emma?

"Hey Maddie, why are you over-"

"Whatttttt"

They both looked to where Josh was, then they looked at me.

"How could you?" I asked with hurt in the tone of my voice.

I thought they were my best friends. We tell everything to each other. What happened?

"Maddie-"

"Don't Maddie me. I thought we told everything to each other. How long as this been going on?"

"Um...... 3 weeks"

"3 f**kin weeks? And you didn't even think to tell me? My own best friend with my other best friend. And you didn't tell me...... Wow. Some kind of friends you guys are." I said.

After my little interruption I just walked back to the car, and sat there till Josh got back.

We drove back in silence, until we reached my house.

"I love you" he said

"I love you too"

I have him a small peck on his lips, then walked to my house.
