Chapter 31

-Emma's POV-

My head is pounding, and I had a huge head ache.

I'm still all tied up.

Wait. Where is my shirt?

I let out a sigh.

Oh my gosh.... I can sigh.

"Help! Help me! Please!" was my first idea to yell.

Then a human figure came into my room.

"Hey there Em"

"Tom?!"

"Yeah..so I need you to tell me where Maddie is."

"I don't know, at her house? The last time I spoke to her was in a text, but she didn't tell me where she was."

"I see" he said, while pulling out a knife.

"No, please, Tom. If you let me go, I won't tell the Police. Just please."

"I'm sure Ben is looking for you." he said while inching closer.

"Please don't" I cried. Tears were at the rim of my eye, threatening to come out, but I wouldn't let them.

"You said you wouldn't hurt me."

"Ya, well we all break promises."

I closed my eyes, as I knew it was going to be the end...... Of me.

"Get the f*** away from her you creep."

After I heard that, I opened my eyes and saw Ben.

"Ben!?!" I screamed.

He was throughing punches, at him, and made sure it would leave a mark.

I could see the anger in his eyes, he was even frightening.

When Tom was too weak to fight back, Ben stood up, and kicked him a few times in the stomach. With that I heard a crack, probably a rib.

When he was satisfied with his job, he came running up to me, untied me, and handed me my shirt.

He picked me up bridal style, and carried me out of an abandoned warehouse. So this is where I was.

"I called the cops, it okay." he spoke into my ear.

After carrying me to his car, he placed me in the back seat, with a blanket. He took a seat next to me and hugged me, while we waited for he Police.

-Maddie's POV-

"What happened?!?" I yelled, letting the piece of pizza I was holding, slip between my fingers.

"She was kidnapped by Ben, and I'm lucky I found her when I did, otherwise she would most likely be dead."

"So where is Tom?"

"He's in the jail hospital, he is going to prison soon."

"Good"

"I'll be at your house with Em in maybe 5 hours."

"See ya then"

With that, I hung up, and went to tell Josh everything is okay.

Author's Note

I'm sorry for such a short chapter, but I have writers block, and I felt that I needed to update. This book will most likely be ending at chapter 35.
