Draco Malfoy - The Unbreakable Vow

Chapter 8

I woke up and quickly got dressed and headed to the great hall. It was 6:30am so most people would still be asleep. I walked down the stairs when the stairs started to move towards the 7th floor corridor. I'd hardly been down there only when we had the DA meetings last year so I decided to go down there.

I turned round a corner when my head smashed in someone's chest and my hand hit his hard abs. I looked up to see bright silvers eyes that I couldn't get enough of. His eyes locked into mine, his breathing slowed down, I could feel his warm minty breath on my face.

"Draco, what are you doing here?" I ask looking up at him.

He ignores my question and walks straight past me. I ask again but yet again he still ignored me. I start to run towards him when he turns to face me straight in the face.

"Stop" was all he says before he carried on walking.

"What do you mean stop? Stop what?" I asks but he still ignores me. I carry on asking until he finally says...

"Stop this, what you're doing to me"

"I'm not doing anything to you"

"I'm in love with Astoria, I can't... Just leave me alone." Then he was gone out of sight. I stand there frozen in shock. He felt it too.

I managed to walk to the great hall, Hermione Ron and Harry was already there. I sat between Hermione and Ron.

"Where have you been?" Hermione said as she was reading her book.

"No where" I say looking at Ron and Harry. She doesn't say anything else as she caught that I would tell her in private without Harry and Ron, they could never find out. Nothing has happened but I need to tell Hermione because she will tell me what I should do.

Classes went on but I had hardly been paying any attention and all I could think about what happened earlier. Hermione knew something was up this made her want to know more.

We get to the girls dormitory and Hermione grabbed my hands and lead me to the bed.

"What happened this morning? You've been out of it all day" she asks wanting to know what happened.

I tell her everything but by the look of her face she still hadn't processed what I just told her.

"Malfoy? Anyone but Malfoy! You can't help having feelings for him but you'll will know if it's real or not. I would just see how things go and try not to let it take over you." I'm surprised how Hermione took it. I was half expecting her to flip out and run to harry and Ron.

"Thank you Hermione, I love you"

"I love you too" she says before heading to her bed.
