A/N: You don't need to read this if you have already! I just moved it from chapter 2 because I realized that I put this chapter in there as well :P Once again, chapter 3, everyone....
Chapter 3
Addison's POV
July 2013, two days later
"Hey, you wanna do some exploring today?" I asked Sarah as she sipped on her coffee.
"Omg, yes! It's Tuesday, school doesn't start until next week-- leggo!" She said enthusiastically and I laughed at the image of her scaring off the locals.
"Then exploring we shall do!" I threw my hands in the air and giggled.
"I'm showering first! You take forever," she poked her tongue out at me and I did the same to her. She went off into the hallway and did her stuff to get ready for the day ahead. She's right though, I do take "forever" in the shower...mostly because of the little concert I have in there....
I slide my feet across the laminated wood floor and plopped down on the giant beanbag. As we've only been here for a couple of days, Sarah and I haven't made the effort to buy a proper living area set. Our parents had only provided us with our beds, other bedroom furniture and wifi and cable with a small TV thrown with it. The rest, they said, should be bought with our own money-- it's like being a real couple (and here we are again with the married couple stuff), it's more symbolic and sentimental that we buy things like our first couch together. We've actually been living off of pizza and giant bottles of water on disposable plates and cups for the past couple of days.
I switched the TV on and surfed for a news channel. I found one after a passing a few channels and it immediately caught my attention as they were talking about The Wanted. I had the biggest crush on them a few years back, and I still do, but it's died down a bit.
"Hey, it's The Wanted," Sarah mused from behind me. I looked back at her and saw that she was fully dressed.
"Yeah, remember I was so in love with Nathan?" I chuckled.
"Yup, 'love' is the correct word, my friend," she replied and I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Whoa, they're playing in London in three days..." I trailed off, dazed.
"Lemme guess, you want to go and see them?" Sarah guessed, as a matter-of-factly.
"You know it. It'll be fun!" I said excitedly. Sarah suddenly had a bright look on her face.
"Alright, leave it to me," she smirked and looked down at her lap.
"Okay...?" I said in a sort of question.
"Mhmmm." She sang and I got up to get myself ready.
***
I had just buttoned up my skinny jeans when I came to the end of the hallway.
"Thanks, Mom, really. Bye!" I heard Sarah say.
"Hey, was that your mom?" I asked her, sitting next to her on the other bean bag.
"Yeah, and guess what?" She said with a huge grin on her face.
"What?"
"Mom sent money into our account," she paused.
"And?" I asked curiously.
"And it's for tickets to The Wanted!" She yelled. I gasped.
"Awww, please tell her I said 'thank you!'" I hugged Sarah and we both got up from the beanbags.
"Oh, guess what? Again," she said.
"Uhm, what?" I chuckled.
"There's enough money to buy premium tickets! You know what that means? Backstage, baby!" I grabbed Sarah into another hug.
***
"You have everything?" I asked Sarah and she nodded, gesturing to her sling purse. With that, we headed out the door and immersed ourselves in London.
Hours later, Sarah and I have done what we thought was almost everything. We shopped at Topshop, gone inside Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, eaten fish and chips, gone on the London Eye; went through the funniest double-decker, red bus tour ever, and gone down every street with a good-looking and historical building across from it.
It was now 6 pm, and it was hardly dark out. Considering that it's still summer, the days are normally longer.
"Addi, I think it's time to head home, don't you think?" Sarah said next to me. We were walking down Oxford Street for the second time and I took note of her facial expression.
"Oh my God, you look so tired," I exclaimed and she glared at me. I laughed.
"That's because I am, you dipshit,"
"Whoa! Okay, okay, hail a cab; let's go. We've done enough exploring for the day," I chuckled.
Sarah enthusiastically waved a hand in the direction of the street and we instantly got a taxi.
We entered the apartment and Sarah literally dropped onto the beanbag.
"Hey, pizza?" I asked and she nodded whilst wrinkling her nose. Pizza was becoming out of style with us already. I dialed the pizza place's number and ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza.
The pizza came shortly after and I placed the box in front of us on the small carpet and took my place next to Sarah.
Day 3 in London was a huge success.
A/N: Chapter 3 :) Btw, I've actually been to London...I just wish I actually did this much exploring :P Comment and vote! xx
