Chapter 4
Addison's POV
"Oh my gosh, I'm so excited!" I say happily as Sarah and I exit our "flat." Tonight we're going to finally see The Wanted-- I felt like I was a 15 year old, a giddy fangirl.
"And who do you have to thank?" Sarah asked expectantly and I grinned at her and gave her a hug from the side, as we were walking towards the elevator.
"God," I said plainly and she glared at me.
"You," I said and we both giggled. "I realize my 'obsession' with them died over senior year of high school, but just thinking that I--we--are going to meet them is quite surreal. I can't wait to hug Nathan," I began giggling unattractively and Sarah just gave me a strange look.
"What, how would you feel if we were going to a K-pop concert right now?" I countered and her face faltered. I smirked. "That's what I thought," I said as I held my chin up dramatically. Sarah shoved me playfully.
"Here, I'll hail for a taxi..." Sarah trailed off and I left her to it. I took out my phone from my jean pocket and trolled through Instagram.
"Sarah," I called and she turned around. "Selfieeee," I sang and she rolled her eyes.
"It's not a selfie if there's two of us in the picture," she states.
"Whatever. I'm still lame, whatever," I say and Sarah chuckles and gets in the picture with me. I type the caption, "Off to see my old flames...@thewanted" and tagged Sarah. Satisfied, I exit Instagram and watch Sarah shamefully flag down a taxi.
I walk up next to her and wave into the street and a taxi immediately parks in front of us. Sarah looked pissed off.
"That was pure coincidence, Addi," she scoffs and I laugh.
"Maybe, maybe." I joke and we get into the taxi and endure the whole ride to the concert venue.
***
The guys are really amazing live. Sarah and I were singing along the whole time and just living off the energy in the place. Though Sarah wasn't as such a big fan as I was, she still enjoyed the concert, and I was glad that everything was simply in a happy state.
The majority of the audience had gone and, who I recognized as the infamous Big Kev, came out from behind the stage.
"Alright, ladies, if you'd follow me, please." He said and us girls filed on behind him. There were around 18 other girls with us, so it was a pretty small meet and greet.
"What if I can't understand the boys?" Sarah whispered next to me and I laughed softly. Sarah was never good with accents, so whenever I called dibs on watching a movie during our sleepovers, that just so happened to be British, she'd always pause and ask for a translation from me.
"You'll be fine. Just ask them to repeat themselves..." I chuckled.
"That's embarrassing though!" She whisper-yelled and the two blonde girls in front of us gave us a dirty look. I wasn't one to be affected by girl strangers, but because these blondes were much taller than Sarah and I, I did feel a little intimidated. It sucks being short sometimes.
When the blondes turned back to the front, I gave them a dirty face back. "Hey, making enemies already?" Sarah smirked.
"Shut up," I smirked. "I have no idea what you're talking about..."
Kevin came to a stop right outside this large room that had a long table with snacks and drinks on top of it. Kevin let us through and the boys came into view. Breathe, Addi, don't embarrass yourself! I thought to myself and Sarah pulled me towards the guys. Because of my short, little inner monologue, Sarah and I had to awkwardly stand back whilst the other girls got their hugs and kisses from the boys.
