Chapter 11: Prophecy

Dylan's POV

I was just eating my breakfast with my big bros thinking where Brooke, Piper, Leo, Hazel, and Nico went when suddenly.

HELP ME!! ANYBODY WHO HEARS MY CRY PLEASE HELP ME!! I'M FALLING INTO TARTARUS!!

The voice was so loud that I actually dropped my spoon full of cereal and had to cover my ears but that still didn't work.

"Hey.What's wrong, baby brother?"I heard Percy ask as I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Dylan are you ok?"I heard my other brother, Thomas Lee, ask from beside me.

"Of course he's not ok"I heard MJ say as I heard her slap both Lee and Percy on their heads.

"Misty"I said getting up.

"Dylan are we still going on with thi..."I cut off MJ as I said.

"No.I heard her.She told me that she fell into Tartarus"I said nervously.

"T-Tartarus?"Percy stuttered out as his face paled.

"Oh no.We need to tell Chiron"Lee said standing up.

"No!"Percy said standing up as well."I'm not going back down there"

"We need to Percy.To save Misty.It's either your in or not"I said walking out of the pavilion and towards the Big House.

"I think Chiron will not approve.You need evidence"MJ said walking beside me.

"Oh yeah"I said stopping in my tracks.

MJ is right.What will I tell Chiron once I'm there 'Hey Chiron.Turns out my sister Misty is still alive and has fallen down in Tartarus.Can you please give us a quest to save her?' That's crazy.He even saw Misty die years ago.Why would he believe us?

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw Annabeth running towards the four of us.

"Hey Wise girl.What's up?"the four of us said in unison.

Usually Annabeth would roll her eyes at us for calling her that since we're turning into Percy but she seemed scared and in a hurry.She was as pale as Nico was when I first met him.

"Guys we're doing a meeting in the Big House straightaway.Have you seen Brooke, Hazel, Leo, Piper, or Nico?"she asked, out of breath.

We ask shook our heads as we followed her towards the Big House towards the meeting room where everybody sat around the ping-pong table.

Chiron and Mr.D were here but something was off.

Mr.D seems worried.

"What's wrong Chiron? Why did you call us here?"MJ asked as she sat down next to Percy while I sat next to her.

"Rachel, would you please recite the prophecy?"Chiron told Rachel.

Rachel nodded and closed her eyes.She opened her mouth and green smoke came pouring out of it.She started to levitate and when she opened her eyes again, they weren't their normal green color anymore.And when she spoke it was inhuman and it sounded older, almost ancient.

"The day to celebrate is close
The day to meet again is far
One falls into eternal darkness and suffering
The other is heart-broken and upset
Everyone will find the truth on the day to celebrate
They will regret of the day to meet
Three will go seek the truth
And bring back the missing and dead
Or will fail and find the evil that lurks down below of the eternal darkness"

After Rachel spoke she collapsed but luckily Clarisse and Chris caught her below she hit her head on the wooden floor or on the ping-pong table.

Everybody looked around the table confused and didn't know what to say.

"This doesn't make any sense"Annabeth spoke breaking the awkward silence.

"Yeah"Will agreed."'One falls into eternal darkness and suffering
The other is heart-broken and upset.' That makes no sense.Who's falling into the darkness and who's heart-broken?"

Nobody answered to Will's question and so the room was silent once again.But then something clicked in my mind.

"Misty"I gasped.

Everybody looked at me confused.

"Misty? Why did you bring up Misty? Didn't she die 5 years ago?"Will asked again.

I looked around the table and saw that everyone, including Mr.D,(which is just plain weird)had sad expressions.

"Yes.I mean no"I said."I know this is gonna sound weird but Misty's alive"I told everybody which earned me a couple of sad expressions and confused ones.

"That's enough Dylan!"MJ said standing up.She seemed angry but her eyes showed deep sadness."Get it through your skull.Misty's dead and there's no way, in Holy Hera, we can get her back.If what you told me is true and Misty did fall into Tartarus, then she'll probably be safe since she's dead"

By now MJ's eyes were glistening with tears.And when she spoke again her voice cracked.

"It's bad enough that I lost you and the others when mom separated us.It's bad enough that we lost Amber when she was barely even born.Now that it's been 5 years since Misty's death, none of you guys have given up.I know it when someone has died because I've seen it happen my whole entire life.Just let it be.We have more things to think about, for example, our sister and friends are missing"MJ said calming a bit down.

"But...."

"No 'but's'"she said cutting me off."Don't be like me and go through all this trouble to end up empty handed. I love you guys too much. Believe me I want to believe that she's alive too but I moved on and I advice for you to do the same before somebody gets hurt"with that said MJ walked out of the room.

Then everybody except Chiron, Percy, Annabeth, Thomas, and everyone from the quest 5 years ago stayed behind.

"All of you need to stop this. MJ is right. If you keep this up then eventually somebody is gonna die"Chiron said.

"But Chiron. The prophecy says that 'Three will go seek the truth And bring back the missing and dead'"Annabeth said."There has to be a coincidence to that"

"I'm sorry Annabeth but that prophecy can talk about anybody. Just.....go back to training. This meeting has been dismissed"With no other words to say, Chiron left the room.

I left tears form in my eyes.

Why don't they believe us?

~Hey guys. It's been a while. I have been busy with school and I'm fudgen tired now because I have been getting like 3 or less hours of sleep now.
