Chapter 6: Past

Nico's POV

"I'm really sorry Nico but I'm with Alex now"Misty said sighing."Listen I don't want to talk about this now.I want to find out what's been going on since the day I.....'died'"

I looked into Misty's eyes and sighed. I looked down at my shoes.

I really want Misty back.I want her back at Camp Half-Blood with me.I admit I love Misty and she's the only reason I'm still alive.Before Misty and Brooke came into my life I was lonely.

Sure I had the 7 and Will and Reyna but I didn't like to be around them.Don't get me wrong,they are good friends but I felt like I didn't belong.When I first met Misty I felt a strange feeling in my stomach.

I looked into Misty's sea-green eyes and remembered the first time we met.

-Flashback-

"Nico shadow-travel towards the girls and grab the flag.I'll chase them in case you miss"Annabeth said while sprinting off towards the two girls that grabbed our team's flag.

I rolled my eyes and ran towards the nearest shadow.Everything was black and cold for a few seconds but then I appeared behind some trees.

I looked around and saw that the river was near.When I looked in front of me I saw the girl that had the flag.She was close to me so I ran towards her.

I horribly missed but I tackled down the other girl that me and Annabeth were sword fighting with.

I landed on top of her with a thump.I looked down at the girl that I tackled and saw that it was a girl that looks a lot like the weirdo and Percy.

I felt my heart starting to race as I looked into her beautiful sea-green eyes and I got lost on them.I didn't know what happened next but the next thing I knew I was on the ground while the girl was up and running after the other girl.She turned back and then I remembered that we were playing Capture the Flag.

I shook my head and got my sword and helmet and started to run after the girl but it was too late.The two girls took down most of the Athena cabin and the Demeter cabin and crossed the river onto their side.The conch horn blew indicating that their team won.

-Flashback over-

"Nico.Aren't you gonna tell me?"Misty's voice snapped me back to reality.

I looked at her again and saw that she had her arms crossed and was placing her weight on her right foot.

"Huh.Oh right.Sorry"I said as I felt my face heat up.

"Anyways.When you were gone for the two weeks Will and Brooke started dating"I said but Misty quickly interrupted.

"Are you serious?Oh my gods.I knew they would be together.Oh I'm sorry Ghost Prince,continue" she said squealing a little.

"Ghost Prince?"I asked raising as eyebrow.

Misty's eyes widened when she realized that she called me 'Ghost Prince'.She looked down blushing but to tell you the truth I kinda like the nickname and Misty looks cute when she blushes.

"Oh I'm sorry Ni...."

"Daisy.Lord Hades needs you in the throne room"Alice,a daughter is Hecate,said skipping into the room.

Alice is a 14 year old girl who died last year in a terrible fire.The only reason I know her is because Alice is one of my father's maidens and she's usually seen skipping around the palace.

She has shoulder-length brown hair with blonde tips and brown eyes with stretched lines of black in them.Apparently she's dating Sloan a son is Apollo who died last year also but he was killed by a hellhound like Misty.Or so what I thought.

Last year apparently someone tried to raise Kronos again but failed miserably.We had to fight thousands of monsters since they tried to attack camp but of course we stopped them.

Some campers died like Patrisha,Tyrone,Dean a son of Athena,Alex a daughter of Ares,Rossi a daughter of Demeter,Ross a son of Hebe,Steve a son of Hypnos,Bridget a daughter of Iris,Crystal a daughter of Hephaestus, and sadly my half-brother Henry.They all died trying to protect camp.

I looked at Alice again and saw her curtsying towards me.

"Alice don't.Mi..Daisy will be there in a minute.I'm just talking to her"I said quickly catching my mistake.

Alice looked at me and Misty confused and just shrugged.

"Ok.Remember Daisy.If you don't go to the throne room in 5 minutes..well you know what'll happen"with that said Alice skipped away like a 5 year old.

Misty turned towards me with a smile but her eyes showed sadness.

"I'm sorry Nico but I gotta go.You can tell me later.Bye Ghost Prince"Misty walked away with me just standing there in the dungeon but before she left she gave me a quick awkward hug.

Oh gods.What am I going to do now?
