Chapter 12: New Demigods

Misty's POV

Pain was the only thing I felt when I came. Everything hurts and I felt like lead. I tried opening my eyes but it was tough.

I tried three more times and on the fourth try I succeeded. I looked at my surroundings and saw buildings destroyed. Fire everywhere, and creatures running around. It was hectic with no end in sight. Everything I had read in books couldn't even begin to describe this scene. Chaos and destruction rained down from the small hole of light above. I gazed in wonder and curiosity to the hole that I had fell from. I was scared and ....... missed my family.  I wanted to go home, and I came to the realization that it may not come soon. I mean I gave up 5 of my fudgen years working for stup** Hades. (Ok my friend wrote this paragraph so I apologize if you don't understand but I like how he wrote it.)

I looked down at my wrist and saw that I had a dozen of broken glass piercing my skin. Blood was pouring out and let me tell you, it hurt as fudge. But I still tried to stand up. I placed both my hands down on the ground and pushed myself up.

I unfortunately succeeded and the reason as to why I said unfortunately is because I made more broken glass stick to my skin. I grunted as I stood on my own two feet.

I looked around once again and only saw a landscape of broken glasses and bones.

I felt my stomach churn at the thought of all the people that died down here.

I felt hot tears pour down my face but I quickly wiped them away. I thought back to when Percy told me about his adventures in Tartarus and immediately felt fear hit me.

"Daisy? Is that you?" a familiar voice asked.

When I turned I was face-to-face to a group of demigods that I never thought I would see again.

The group of demigods consisted of Alice Rose, who is a daughter of Hecate. She has shoulder-length brown hair with blond tips. Her eyes were brown with stretched lines of black.

Another was Lily Kate Dykstra. She's a demigod as well but she died two years ago when she took her younger brother to camp. She has dirty blonde hair with green and brown eyes. She has a nice tan and has braces on. She's blessed by all the gods and goddesses and her mother is Athena., goddess of Wisdom.

The last one was Nessipon Evergreen Serannian. She's a daughter of Apollo (why are there only girls?). She has awesome red hair and blue eyes. She's strangely pale for a daughter of Apollo. Oh and did I mention that she has freckles.

They were all killed while taking a loved one to camp. They were suppose to go to Elysium but Hades had other plans. Luckily a few months ago they disappeared. It was rumored that the three girls chose re-birth after they were here for a couple years but I guess the rumors were wrong.

I was gonna respond to the three girls that helped me while they were still in Hades' palace but didn't because black spots started to appear to my vision. The girls looked at me in concern and started to speak but to me they sounded far away. Everything turned black but something seemed different about my dream. It wasn't even a nightmare this time.

~Dream~

I was in a clearing in the forest but in front of me was the road and behind me was a house. A beautiful house that I always dreamt of living in.

I heard some children's laughter behind me. When I turned around I saw 4 little kids running towards me yelling"Help mommy! Mommy, daddy wants to tickle us!"

I smiled as I saw a man running after the two girls and two boys.

And the man was the one and only Nico di Angelo.

I kneeled down and opened up my arms for my kids to run into. The oldest boy and his twin sister which were named Bianca and Percy ran into my arms first. The youngest pair of twins which were named Winter and Hunter didn't make it since their father got them.

They were giggling like crazy as Nico was spinning them around and around. When he stopped I look at his dark brown, almost black, eyes. They were shining with happiness as he hugged his kids.

He met my eyes and smiled even wider. He looked at the four kids and hugged Winter and Hunter like they were his whole world. I did the same to Percy and Bianca and they just hugged me back.

The last thing I saw was Nico saying"I love you guys. You're my whole entire world."

~End of Dream~

I woke with a start and looked around to realize that I'm still in Tartarus.

All of it was a dream, but it felt so real. Like I was right there when that happened.

"You ok, Daisy?"Nessipon asked.

I felt a smile creep up onto my face as I said"Yeah. I'm fine"

Are the Fates showing me my future once I get out of here or are they showing me what my life could've been? Percy told me that demigod dreams come out true but not all the times. Well I think I would have to wait and see.
