I had taken it all in rather quickly. It was shocking, but even more shocking was how much it made sense to me. I had kinda figured the whole teleportation incident with Ender was having to do with that hybrid part of her. Me not being related to Steve made a lot of sense, when I thought about it. Like I'm pretty sure I've said before, I can read people like books, and this Seto guy...I liked him. I could tell he tried to be cool and calm and all, and he was, but I could tell he also has a very strong, very good heart. I trusted him. At least on what he'd said so far to me. Now, standing here in the Nether, a land of blistering heat I was somehow completely comfortable with, I stood with Ender on my right and Seto on my left. In front of us was a dark castle, with a man who stood on the bridge in front of the fortress. I turned to Seto calmly and took a slight bow, not bending much farther than an inch down or so. I said to him, "thank you for bringing us here, Seto."He nodded in reply, but I could sense he was a little surprised at first when I had bowed respectively. I then turned to face the man who was my father. Herobrine, the Mob King. According to a lot of people you'd ask, an overlord of evil. But I never honestly believed those stories in the first place."Father," I calmly greeted him.

Something told me to reach into my pocket right then. A voice in my head, maybe instinct. I dug into my right pocket, and took out a spawn egg with a mild undertone of surprise.

"Thank you for the birthday gift," I said, examining the egg. It wasn't one of the "peaceful" mobs' eggs, and it was nothing like any of the "hostile" mobs'. It was entirely different. I placed it. Instead of a mob, black clouds swarmed out of it. "Hold still," Seto said, and I obeyed. From her silence, I knew that Ender had, too. The smoke cleared, and a wolf-shaped mob was in its place:Only a block tall and a block wide, nothing special in size, but its fur was gorgeous. It was a mixture of  black and Enderman-purple and dark blues, with white dots looking like stars and white eyes. He-yes, he-took one look at me, and he wagged his tail, then barked.

He ran up to me happily, and I smiled and said, "good boy, Nova."I looked up at my dad again. "Thanks."Seto answered with a laugh he didn't try to restrain, then said, "that measly thing of a gift wasn't from him."I smiled and took Seto by surprise by laughing and smiling, and giving him a quick hug. He stood there, stock-still. I lightly punched his shoulder and said, "c'mon, I'm a tomboy, but not incapable of affection or appreciation."He cleared his throat and muttered, "um...this is true..."I turned to Ender and asked, smiling, "so, what'd you get?"Herobrine just watched us, interested, but trying to hide that he was actually intrigued as Ender dug around in her pockets.
