Well I Guess That About Covers It Then

I’ve been thinking a lot about what Vlad said. Hell I was thinking a lot about what I said. I’m a firm believer in you say what you mean. But did I really mean it when I said my home was with him? If I didn’t I’m pretty sure it would crush him. Can you even take something like that back? Do I want to take it back? I don’t regret saying it. And when I really think about it, this is home. Home is where you are with people who love you and Vlad loves me, doesn’t he? This is what I hate about liking someone, I go from this independent doesn’t need any man woman, to Taylor Swift bat shit crazy and clingy. There is no middle for me.  I really need to find middle ground come to think of it. I refuse to be anything like Swift. I mean he’s never actually told me he loved me, he just told me about the mate thing. I know I’m going to regret sending him this text but I have to know.

I had barely just hit the send button when Vlad came rushing into my –er our, room.

“What kind of question is that Callaghan? And why on earth would you send it to me through a text message?” Vlad looked hurt, confused and semi-wild running his hand through his hair.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t expect you to come rushing in here. It was just a question. I mean you told me about you being a prince and me you’re mate but you never actually told me you loved me. Hell you haven’t even told me if you like me.”

“Of course I love you; you are the only woman in the entire world for me. If I didn’t love you I wouldn’t want to spend the rest of eternity with you. I wouldn’t have spent the past twenty years protecting you. I wouldn’t have saved you from the rouge vampire. I love you more than anything in this world or the next.” He came over to where I was sitting and knelt in front of me taking my hands in his. “You are my world, without I cannot survive.”

“Well I guess that about covers it then.”
