Back in my room a million and one thoughts ran through my mind. Most importantly all my belongings were back in nowhere's Michigan along with my car. How am I supposed to get anywhere without my car. Can you have that kind of thing shipped overseas? And even if I could, would I be able to drive it since it was made for America and driving on the right side of the road?
What about Sarahphine and Ivy? What am I supposed to tell them? Oh hey by the way I've met a five hundred and something year old vampire but it's OhKay because he is forever stuck at 22. And yeah I'm destined to be with him for all if eternity and yes that does mean that I will be turned into a vampire. But not right away, when I'm 22 so I have two years to deal with that. Oh and did I mention he is the prince of the vampires which of course as you were thinking makes me the princess. Yeah I did just meet him but he did save my life from some rouge vampire and I think I may actually like him. OhKay I do actually like him. What's not to like? He's polite, so far has treated me wonderfully and just look at him for gosh sakes.
Oh yeah that would turn out just fantastic.
Sarahphine may understand, I mean she is dating a werewolf so she can't say much to me about Vlad being a vampire. That would be hypocritical. Ivy however has no idea any of this exists. Will I even be able to tell them? Surely I will be allowed to tell Sarahphine at the least, I mean she already knows about all this crazy.
Now I regret leaving the kitchen and Vlad. Back in my room there is no one to answer my questions. With no idea where Vlad may have gone if he left the kitchen at all that is, I set out with the kitchen as my first destination. Harold would be my next target, surely if Vlad wasn't there then Harold would know where he went.
¥
The kitchen was deserted. Not even a dirty plate was in sight. Well there goes plan one. If I were Harold, where would I be?
Musing to myself about where I would go if I was Harold a thought occurred to me, vampires are supposed to have super hearing. Well time to test that theory out.
"Harold if you can hear me, I am in the kitchen I require your assistance." Now lets hope that worked.
"Yes, my lady?" Score one for Callaghan.
"Could you tell me where Vlad is?"
"He is in the dungeon, my lady."
"Can you show me where that is?"
"I'm afraid not, my lady, for he would not like it if you were to go down there. I can however let him know that you require his presence and where you are if you would like me to."
"Yes, thank you Harold."
¥
"You wanted to see me?" I was startled awake from my nap at the counter by Vlads' voice. "There is a bed in your room if you were tired. That couldn't have been comfortable."
"Sorry, I must have fallen asleep waiting for you. I had a question."
"And I an answer."
"What am I supposed to do about my belongings? My car? I have to have some way of getting around. And what and I supposed to tell my friends?"
"Your belongings will be sent here for you to do with as you please. Your car will be sold. We can go tomorrow to look for a new one. As for your friends, tell them whatever you would like. Just remember some are more accepting than others."
"A new car? I can't afford a new car, Vlad."
"But of course you can, you have access to all that I have. We shall go tomorrow."
All that he has? I've just met him and he is already allowing me access to everything? Well everything except for the dungeon.
"I have access you everything you say? So you won't mind if I take a look at the dungeon?"
"Everything, except that. You are much too fragile for it and I don't want you to be scared."
And with that he left, presumably going back to whatever he was doing in the dungeon before I interrupted him. Leaving me to figure out what I was going to tell my two closest friends.

It must have been hours later because the sun was now setting. I had been looking out the window in my room since my last encounter with Vlad, thinking over what I was going to tell Sarahphine and Ivy. I had quickly come to the decision that I would make up some sort of half-truth to tell Ivy. She wouldn't believe the truth anyways and it would probably just scare her. I would tell Sarahphine the whole truth. She would believe me and she wasn't afraid of the supernatural. Plus I would need someone to talk to about all of this besides Vlad. Since I didn't have a cell phone anymore, note to sell get one tomorrow, I once again needed Harold.
"Harold, I need your help again."
"Yes my lady?"
"Do you have a computer I could use?"
"One moment, my lady." And with that he was out of the room and in flash and back not a minute later. In his hands was a box.
Upon closer inspection, it was a MacBook Pro box.
"Do you require any further assistance my lady?"
"No thank you Harold. I can take it from here. Thank you."
"You're welcome, my lady. And for reference, it is yours. A gift from the staff."
"Thank them all for me Harold. It is a wonderful gift. I shall put it to use immediately."
