Burdened by the death of the royal Hyrule warrior Peircé, they left the kingdom back to the Kokori village. Only to find that it was being controlled by freckled goblins (Ok don't give me any crap, this isn't completely a fan fiction. I'm still going to add some elements on my own) after trying to retake it, they were chased out and left to rot in the woods.

Link (green link), Red (red link), Blue (blue link), and Chuck (purple link) held up their own camp somewhere in the Kokori forest. having a small tree fort, they all had their part in survival based apon what they were known to do. Link kept everyone on track, Red was in control of their purified water, Blue was the one who hunted, and Chuck usually cut down small trees for firewood. finally! now lets get to the story!

Red sat by the river and listened to the birds as they chirped a song. The bucket in his hand kept catching the waves as it rocked back and forth in the river water. When the metal bucket was filled, he stood up and walked over to his fire about ten yards away from the river and put the bucket over it. He sat down and listened to the birds again. He smiled, "so peaceful..." looking up at the tree topped roof. His cloths seemed to stick to him as he gazed up through the leaves at the sun. He smiled and laid down.
Closing his eyes he waited for the water to boil. There was a crunch of leaves in the distance, Red shot up and looked around, there was then a whizzing sound and he turned around just in time to duck away from a flying arrow.
Red looked up to see Blue calmly holding his bow, "asshole!" Red yelled, "you know I can't conduct magic without a staff!" Blue chuckled, "than get off your butt and come help us build a fire!" Red was confused, wasn't Chuck supposed to build the fires? "What happened to Chuck?" Blue shook his head, "The moron got cocky and tried to show off some of his 'sweet moves' and rolled his ankle after landing an attempted front flip." Red shook his head and grabbed the bucket, "just great..." He mumbled and they marched in towards the camp.
