chapter 8

The three sat around in their room (a new one, which was rather smaller than the original one, and had only four beds) for the rest of the day...sulking...Red was right, they had abandon their freind, their best freind, their brother. How would they get him back? What would they do?
As their thoughts got carried away, the same women that brought them into the council meeting walked into the room.
"Umm, it's Pac Man..." The three of them stopped and we're dead silent, "He's awake."
They broke into the main castle hall, where the main door to the castle was. Walking along the red carpet the slowly made their way up to the royal thrones.
At the end of the red carpet, two golden chairs were propped up, slightly angled at eachother. Zelda sat in the left one, her arm perked up on her cheek making her look bored. But as the four came into veiw, she perked up and hopped off of the throne.
"I see Zelda is in the left throne, who is normally in the right one?" Link looked over at Red and sighed, "Peircé was in that other throne. Until I let him down. He died. Zelda hasn't been fond of me since...but I don't understand, she never seemed to like him." As if on cue Zelda approached them and said "you off to see Pac Man?" The woman nodded, and just like that they were off.

They found their way into a large dungeon room. As they found their way to Pac Man's cell Zelda explained that this was a precaution. For the guy had threatened to eat any of the guards that touched him. When they got to his cell he was in the corner with his eyes shut. "You said Pac Man was awake." Blue grumbled, wanting to go back up to the room. "It's Pacman you dork!" Pacman (Pac Man) said harshly. Red looked over to see that he was in fact wide awake!

Red chuckled, "woah! Holy crap he speaks english!" Pacman got up, "well no duh!" Walking towards the cell door he put his hands on the bars, "please get me out. I'm tired of staying in here for doing nothing...I'm not a criminal!" Red looked over at Zelda, who clicked her tongue when they met glances. "Allright, fine." Zelda mumbled, "let him out." The woman tagging behind opened the door and Pacman walked right pit to them. Standing at seven foot tall he towered over everybody in the room. Even the maiden lady, who was a full grown adult.
Red looked way up to see Pacman, "oh boy..." He said, taking a few steps back, "Pacman here should land on one of your squads. Being the giant warrior he is, he's known for eating people..." Zelda announced looking up at Pacman, than over at Red who was still backing away from the seven foot beast.

"Who will be in our squads?" Blue asked Zelda, who quickly answered with, "mainly warriors from Hyrule until more heroes drop down from the heavens." Blue nodded and had a frown across his face as if to say cool thats...cool...
Red looked over at Zelda, "so when are we meeting our squads?" Zelda looked over at Red, "tomarrow at Hyrule fields." There was a sharp crack and a loud swilling sound and then a bunch of shouts. Zelda looked up at the ceiling, "Maybe not tomarrow..." She said and started to run up the stairs, Red quickly followed behind. "What's going on? He asked, Zelda turned around, "the vortex just opened again..." And just like that, she was gone...
