chapter 27

Link, Blue, Barby, Pacman, and Rick stared blankly at the ruins. Hyrule castle loomed above the Darkened village that was once thriving with life. Angry fish women dressed in armor walked throughout the charred city. Shadow floated above the main square. She was only laughing. She then suddenly stopped. She looked over and spotted Link's group.

"Shit." Link spat and then started to back up slowly.
"Guys, time to go!" Link whispered. "Nooo...come HERE!" Shadow boomed and an arrow flew through the air. "WATCH OUT!" Link shouted and ducked. There was a horrifying shoit, then a thunk, and a wack of the body hitting the ground. Link looked up desperately and saw Barby laying dead on the ground. The arrow was lodged right in his temple, blood oozing out of the wound staining the grass a dark red color.

"Fuck! Everyone, run! Follow me!" Link shouted and darted off, Blue and Rick following behind.
A tear rolled down Link's cheek as they scrambled into the woods. Shadow's laughter echoed behind them.

About a few hours later they set up camp. Two logs were put up against eachother. They put an assourcment of ferns on top for protection. They had a fire in the middle. A similar set up when the boy herd was still a thing. This time, instead of Red, Link, Chuck, and Blue. It was Link, Rick, Pacman, and Blue.
Link sat on a rock, Pacman and Rick sat on a log, and Blue hung from a tree branch.
"So how the hell do we find Red?" Blue asked, breaking the dead silence. Link's stomach rumbled, "I have no idea." Blue grunted and dropped from the tree branch.
"Buut, I have been stirring up a possible situation." Blie dropped from the branch and the group tuned in for this info.
"Red has the power of teleportation. And being around him long enough, I can tell he wouldn't just bend at any women's command. He must've seen something that triggered his power." Link thought for a moment, "his powers are most powerful at the scene of a tragedy. Like Chuck..." Link trailed off. He looked back up to see the group staring at him and got back on track.
"He must have seen the death of someone important." Link's head shot up. "Zelda!" Pacman and Rick exchanged glances, "Zelda's dead! And Red must have teleported to his home town out of rage!" Link looked around, "we are in Kokori forest! Red has to be here somewhere!"
