They sprinted along the Hyrule fields as the sun began to set. "Hurry! We need to make it into the castle before the doors shut!" Link shouted. Chuck looked over at the other three boys, for he was dragging Pac Man on his back.
The castle appeared over the horizon as the sprinted over the hill. When they ran they saw the castle's drawbridge start to go up. They stopped in their tracks knowing they wouldn't make it.

"Well, sh-" "language!" Red cutoff Chuck midsentence. There was a grumble and the ground started to shake, Red looked up at the sky instinctively but no vortex was opened. He looked back at the ground to find that the rumble came from under him.
The ground parted and the dirt rumbled open. "Argh!" Red shouted and jumped away. Just then a boney skelatal creature by the name of stalchild climbed out of the ground and looked at the boy band as if nothing happened. Then it roared and pulled a sword from its holster that was on its back.

Blue pulled out bow and shot an arrow, it landed straight into the stalchild's skull. The four looked around themselves to see more stalchilds spawning. "Frick." Chuck said and put down Pac Man. He then pulled out his sword and ran up to the nearest stalchild and stabbed it in the head, the thing shrieked and vanished with fog that surrounded where it once was. Chuck looked around him to see even more of the stakchilds were climbing out of the ground. "Come back over here, you stupid!" Link shouted as Chuck kept striking at the stalchilds instead of catching back up with Red, Blue, and Link.
Red looked over at Hyrule to see lights turn on at the top of the gate, "guys! Come on! I think they're gonna open up the gate for us!" Red shouted, "guys?" Red turned around to see that Link and Blue were struggling to fend off for themselves and Chuck was already out of sight.
There was a shriek next to Red and he looked over to his right to see a boney stalchild holding a large wooden club above his head. Red dove to the right and dodged to attack but the stalchild got back up and was ready to attack again.

Link stabbed a stalchild in the ribs, then sliced upward and the bones all smashed apart and the thing vanished into a cloud of fog, blinded by the fog he swung his sword wildly only to have it get caught in a stalchild and fly away from his grip. Link screamed as a stalchild's boney sword found a way into his back. The blood stained his tattered cloths and he fell down, unable to get up.

Blue kept pulling out arrows and firing, one at a time the stalchilds seemed to fall away, turning in a circle he shot the closest ones by him, but as time went on, they caught up. A stalchild struck from behind and hit him in the head, he blacked out immediately.

Red dove to the right and sliced at a wandering stalchild. Looking up he saw the club come down and slid away. Getting up he kicked at another stalchild sending it to the ground and sliced away at yet another stalchild. Red saw the club come down so he rolled to his left. There was a shout and he looked up to see warriors from Hyrule coming on horses to their aid, Red smiled. Then there was a loud smack and everything started to get blurry, there was another smack and Red realized he was being his on the side of the head with the club. Turning around he was about to strike at the stalchild, buy before he could act, the club hit him one more time in the side and he did a cartwheel, his sword flying off to God knows where, and landed on the ground. That was when the final link blacked out.
