The army stood at the gates of Hyrule. Not a word. Not a sound. Red walked up to the drawbridge. It was down. Red walked through. The town was empty. Red guestured for the group captains to step forward. Red, Blue, Link, Pacman, Mastercheif, Mario, Bigby, Snake, Shaun, Batman, and Death Stroke stepped foreward. They slowly walked into the square. The drawbridge started to go up. "NO!" Red screamed. "Dammit." Batman said as they hopelessly watch the drawbridge go up. Mario and Red exchanged glances. Mario was about to talk but an arrow cut him off. It stuck right in Mario's neck. Red's eyes got big as Mario struggled for words. Blood spewed out of his mouth and his dead body fell onto the stone floor. The ten looked up over to where the platform was. Shadow stood there with her bow raised high.
"You son of a bitch." Red spat and walked foreward. Shadow drew another arrow and shot. the arrow lodged into Red's shoulder, spinning gim around. Red fell to the ground. Blood leaked out of the wound and he watched helplessly as Shadow slowly stepped off the platform and over to the group. She ordered them to get in a line. They refused. Shadow aimed another arrow at Red's head, "get in a line" She ordered. They obeyed.
"Kneel." She barked. The did. "No!" Red yelled. Shadow watched as Red slowly got to his feet. Red then snapped part of the arrow off and chucked it to the ground. Blood streamed down his side. "Fuck you." Red spat. Shadow aimed and shot once again. The arrow struck Red's knee. He screamed and fell to the ground. Pain welled up on the outside as he felt an uncountable amount of small bones crack on the inside. Shadow looked over at the kneeling group and chuckled. "Try anything and we'll kill Red. And from there on we'll go down the line. Ok, now that that is clear, lemme get this straight." Red looked up and started to glare at Shadow, "you are all under my orders now. You will work for me and do as I command. We have been looking for good servants." Red spit at Shadow's shoes. She glared at him. Red only smiled and winked. Blue looked over and saw what Red was doing. He was trying to piss her off. "Don't" Blue said to Red. Red ignored him.
"Our army is much more powerful than yours. And besides, you ten are all I wanted anyways." Red spit again. Shadow tried to ignore it; "but there one thing. Last night you killed a whole pack of my troops." This hit Batman like a bullet because he knew where she was going with this; he's seen it before. "You see that guillotine up there." Shadow pointed up at a large contraption with a hole for a head and a large blade.

The group shivered. "You slaves will have to pay for what you've done. But the price is small. Only 1 life. And Iget to choose..." The wind howeled.
Red started to look for a way out. He couldn't see any. Wherever he looked there was a fish woman gaurd. They were everywhere, watching them. Studying them. Red looked over at the drawbridge. No signs if movement. "Shit." Red spat.
Shadow slowly walked beside each one of the captians. "Hmmm...who to choose..." She cooed. "Oh! I have an idea!" Shadow walked over to the end of the line. "Ene...mene...mini...mo..." She continued walking throughout the group, "catch...a tiger...by...his toe..."
