chapter 33

Red immediately identified the situation and grabbed Blue. He hefted Blue up onto his shoulder and looked around at everyone.

Pacman and Link looked over at Midna, Snake, and Batman in a gaze. "So are we going to kiss eachother and shake hands?! Come on people!" Red took off.
Running through the forest, Blue's limp body bobbed in his arms. Blood slowly dripped onto Red's uniform. Smacking a twig away, Red came to a stop.
There in front of him the cabin was burning.
Fire dazeled in the dark of the night. There was a scream from the back of the cottage. "FUCK!" Red shouted and put Blue down on the ground carefully.
Red sprinted into the flaming house. There in the back part of the living room he found Mario struggling to lift up a burning fallen log.

Red came to his aid and found that Luigi was there under the log, half of his face burned off. His overalls were ripped to shreds and blood was splattered across his body.
Mario was able to lift the log enoigh, but just then the shelve behind them broke off the wall and trapped Luigi even further into it.

Luigi grabbed Mario's wrist. Mario leaned into him. "I love you." Luigi said. He then let go.
"BROTHER!" Mario screamed
The leg fell.
A ceiling beam fell.
Luigi was crushed.
Blood of his crippled body spilled onto the floor.

Red grabbed Mario by his shoulder and dragged him out of the burning home.

They were able to scramble out the door moments before the final beam smashed in on itself and the whole cottage fell into ruins.

Blue put his hands on his knees and bent over.
Mario was on the forest floor
crying.
Blue was bleeding out sitting next to a scorched tree
Batman, Link, Pacman, Midna, Snake and Bigby arrived at the cabin.
The cottage slowly burnt to a crisp, black remains littered the ground.

Red looked over at Blue and thought;

Step 1: help Blue

Step 2: kill Shadow
