chapter 31

Red looked at the wall as Luigi padded up his arm. The wound had stopped bleeding, thanks to Luigi's help.
When Luigi finished, Red looked over at his bandaged shoulder, "thank you." He said.
Luigi only nodded, "it was my pleasure, helping people is my favorite thing to do." Red smiled, "you are a great person, you know that?" Luigi chuckled, "just put a shirt on." He said and stood up.

Red had taken his shirt off so Luigi could get to the wound. Red slowly rolled his bandage off. Under it was a long scar. Red laughed, "thank God it healed."

Red put the rest of his green uniform on. He and Luigi walked into the living room to find Midna waiting there. She and Snake were talking. When she saw Red come out of the room, she walked over to him. "How's your arm?" She asked, "as good as it can be." Midna smiled at that, "thank you." Red added, "for taking me in and helping me back on my feet." Midna smiled, "it's allright, you don't need to thank us." Red then pulled away from Luigi and started to walk with Midna, "by the way, why did you help me? And how did you know where I was?" Midna shook her head, "I was on a hunting mission and found you. I brought you back because you seemed like a good person." Red nodded in response. He then looked along the bare walls of the cabin. There were no hunting tools.

About an hour later, Red, Midna, Snake, Batman, and Bigby were ready to leave. They packed up a bag with a few snacks. They left at noon, leaving Mario and Luigi to hold over the cabin.
