chapter 4

Red sprinted next to Blue and they seemed to only get closer as the world passed by them. Twisted trees bent in weird shapes and forms flew behind them and as soon as they made it to the meteor spot, sure enough a field about 30 yards wide and long of smashed trees was surrounding a hole that wasn't too deep and held a large fallen rock that looked like it came from the moon. Red looked up, nope, not from the moon. They then stared at the scene for a second then acted.

Blue walked over to the crater with Red and stopped to look at its towering structure. Red walked up and knocked on the rock, "solid as mithril!" He said with a cough. There was a loud moan then, but it wasn't any kind of moan, it was the moan of an 8-bit pixel character.

Red looked over at Blue and they looked back at the meteor, that seemed to be inflating and deflating like it was breathing. "Something alive came down here in this rock!" Blue said loudly to himself and he stepped back, "how do we get him...it...out?!" Red corrected himself as he turned and looked back at Blue for an answer.
"Don't worry, I got an idea!" Walking over outside the wilted terrain he grabbed a bulbous part that was growing out of a plant and ran towards the rock, "it's a bomb!" He yelled out and then took a large step to throw and chucked it at the breathing mound. The bomb flew steadily up in the air and soon came down with a crash and exploded the exterior rock that surrounded the creature.

After the fog seemed to slowly drift away, the creature came into vision. Sitting there, was a large round man with eyes as big as watermelons. Red had a hand over his eyes, so when he let it fall at the side of his legs he said, "what in the hell?!" Blue coughed and he got up, for he was blown to the ground after the explosion. "What?" Blue asked as he slowly got to his feet. Red stared for another moment taking in what he saw, "man this is...this is nuts!" Red moaned to himself as he looked a little harder at the scene in front of himself. "What is it!?" Blue yelled (who was growing quite impatient with Red's answer) Red took another glance at the creature and looked back over at Blue.

"Dude this is Pac Man!" Red said with a long exhale in his breath, and with that the sky opened up once again and started to rain more meteors.
