chapter 3

"Are you kidding me, Chuck?!" Red yelled as he saw Chuck getting attended to by Link. "You stupid..." He mumbled again as he stood next to Chuck. He too (along with the other boys) was wearing some sort of trashy leather tunic, and some dirty black pants.
"Shut up." Chuck said and he spit into the ground. Red stared hard for a moment, than walked over to get the wood so he and Blue could get started on the fire.

About an hour later the sun was creeping over the mountains and the moon began to rise, Link was still attending to Chuck, but Red and Blue were now chilling by the fire.
"So..." Blue began, "Chuck, how's your leg doin?" Chuck just grunted in response, "oh, stop being such a pansy! His leg is fine. Link! Have you seen anything wrong?" Red called, Link answered with, "no, actually..." Red nodded his head, "exactly!" Just then there was a sharp crackle of lightning, which was quickly followed by thunder.
Chuck jumped up and looked around, "See?! I told you he was fine!" Red protested and Chuck held up a finger as if to silence him. "Little asshole didn't wanna make the friggin' fire!" Chuck turned around, "Shut up!" He whispered harshly to Red. Everything was silent. Then it happened.

Some sort of vortex opened up in the night sky and a meteor flew out of it. It then fell to the ground and collided with a smash. Link and Red exchanged glances as smoke began to rise out of the spot it landed on. There was silence once again as the vortex vanished and the night sky returned. "Dude I bet Hyrule even saw that!" Blue said with a crack in his voice, "what the hell was that vortex thing?!" Link asked nobody.

"Well let's stop asking questions and check this thing out!" Chuck yelled rather confidently and then sprang into the trees, the rest of the boys quickly following behind.
