I drove down the little hidden path. I got to the end of the path and slowly drove to the road. Luckily, no one was on the main road at the moment. I only had to drive for about three miles until I reached the theater. I parked and waited at the sign for the boys to come. I saw Jace. He looked confused.

"You're not in the usual spot." he whispered to me.

"I know that. I'm waiting for somebody." I said casually.

"But I'm already here! Who else would come?" he narrowed his eyes and groaned. "Who did you invite?"

"You'll find out."

It took about ten minutes, but he finally came. "Why did you invite him?" Jace said.

I ignored him. "What took you so long?" I asked Leo.

"I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm still new here so it took a while to find this place." Leo said.

"It's the movies. Any teen can tell you. Most of them come here on Fridays anyways."

Jace looked impatient. "Can we go now?"

"Sure." I gave a sly smile to Leo. "Lets go."

Leo started walking to the entrance. "What movie are we watching?"

"Who said we were watching a movie?" I pulled his arm into the alley as Jace kept watch of us. Then he sneaked in too. We were behind the theater and Leo looked even more confused.

"What are we doing here?" he reached down into his toolbelt that he for some reason always wore. It looked empty so I didn't know why he wore it.

"Just watch Leo. Jace, you ready?"

"Yeah." he faced me and  got into a fighting position. "The real question is are you ready?"

"Don't talk like that. You know I'll win."

"Yeah yeah."

"I'm so confused." said Leo.

I got into a fighting position as well.

"What are you two doing?"

I ignored him and charged Jace. He charged at me as well. I had this strategy down for a few years now. Jace was all offense. He never played defense. But I played both. Right now it was defense. He attempted to punch me. I sidestepped. I had to back up to not get kicked in the side. I saw his strategy. He was backing me up to the wall. I let him. I had a plan for him too. My back was on the cold brick wall.

"Yield?" he asked me. He was in a stance with his fist ready to punch.

"Never." I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.

He grunted and I said "Yield?"

"Yield."

"Good. So Leo, that is what we do every Friday here. You want to try against me?" I gave him a wicked smile.

"I think I'd rather try against Jace. But you were terrifying out there. I didn't know you could fight so well. That was awesome."

"Thanks."

"Help?" Jace squeaked from the ground between us. I grabbed his arm and yanked him up.

"Before we fight again, I'm hungry. Can we get food? McDonalds is only just across the street from here."

"Why not? I could go for some food. Specifically their fries. I just love them."

"Me too."

"Yeah. Come on guys." Jace seemed better now.

We sneaked back out without anyone noticing. We ran across the street to McDonalds. I ordered ten of their chicken nuggets, a medium fry, two chocolate chip cookies and two sugar cookies, and a medium water. I sat us in a booth in the corner. I had to wait for my cookies because they were still in the oven, so that means they will be fresh and gooey. Yay! The boys ate their food in silence.

"So, Eclipse. Have you lived here your whole life?" Leo broke the silence.

"Pretty much. What about you? Where are you from?"

"Believe it or not, I'm from Texas. Just not this city. I'm from somewhere else. To be honest, I didn't know this place even existed."

"Yeah. It's not very popular. We don't get many visitors here. This place is barely on the map. But we are in tornado alley so, that is a problem. Eclipse helps people rebuild houses and buildings voluntarily. She's very strong" Jace explained.

I blushed. "No I am not, Jace."

"Don't lie Eclipse. I've seen you lift eighty pounds over your head. Oh, and its not just Tornadoes we have. We, for some reason, also get Earthquakes."

I paled. Lucky for me they called number three-seventy-two. That was my number. "Yeah, well they called my number. I'll be right back." I quickly walked over to the counter and got my cookies.

"Are you okay Eclipse? You turned really pale there when he mentioned Earthquakes." I turned pale again. If only they knew the truth. "Are you afraid of them?"

"Y-yeah. T-that's it." I lied.

"I didn't know that, Eclipse. Why didn't you ever tell me? I could have helped you." Jace seemed concerned. It made me want to tell them the truth. But I can't.

"N-no. I'm fine, really. Just-nevermind. I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay then. We wont talk about it anymore. By the way, why do your eyes change colors?" Leo asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean sometimes your eyes change color. Most of the time, they're a deep maroon and other times, they're teal. Why do they do that?"

"I didn't know they did. I thought they were just maroon. Jace, did you know about this?" I asked.

"I noticed it a few times, but I figured you knew so I didn't bring it up." Jace replied.

"Well I don't know why it happens Leo. It didn't know it even happened." I took a bite of a chocolate chip cookie. "And do you have any pets?"

"You could say that. What about you?"

"Oh, I have a lizard. Her name is Ender. I don't know what kind of lizard she is. And Jace has a pet turtle who is made of stone and lives in his birdbath." I laughed.

"Hey! Don't judge! Sam doesn't need to be taken care of. She is the easiest pet I could find. Are you done? Can we go now?"

"Yeah." Leo and I said at the same time.

We got up, threw our trash away, and left. At the time, I had no clue what was to come. Or what I was about to do.
