It was about ten o' clock when I woke up. I immediately didn't want to get up and face my brothers again. I knew they would be mad still and would want to talk about last night when I lost control.

Instead of getting up, I grabbed my phone and turned on music. "Fireflies" By 'Owl City' was on. I had three messages. They were all from Leo.

(L=Leo, E=Eclipse)

L: What happened after I left?

L: Why were they mad at you?

L: What is going on?

I sighed.

E: It's nothing.

It took a few minutes for him to text back.

L: It didn't seem like nothing to me. Eclipse, tell me what is happening with you?

E: I said, it's nothing.

L: Something is going on with you.

I groaned. Why did he have to be so suspicious?

E: You're so annoying sometimes.

L: That didn't answer my question.

Dang it. I was hoping to get him off the subject.

L: And thank you, I love to be annoying.

I rolled my eyes.

E: You're not going to let this go are you?

L: No.

E: You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

L: Try me. You'd be surprised at the things I'd believe.

E: I'm not telling you.

L: Why not?

E: Fine. My brothers were just wondering about why it took me so long to get home. And about my wrist. Like I said, Nothing.

I lied.

L: That's all I wanted to know. But why did you say I wouldn't believe you?

E: Because you said it seemed bigger than that. When that's really all it was. Done?

L: OH. Done.

E: Good. Now I have to go.

L: Later then.

I can't believe he actually bought it. It was a quick lie and not a very good one at that. I put my phone back on my dresser next to my bed.

I groaned as I got out of bed. Today was going to be a long day. I quickly got dressed into a red and black plaid T-shirt and some jean shorts.

I went downstairs. Alex and Daniel were watching TV on the couch together. Brandon was probably in his room studying like always. His college was extremely hard I've heard. He was always studying.

I went to the kitchen and got some Cheerios in a bowl without the milk. I sat at the table and silently ate. I finished and got up to go.

"You guys ready?" I looked at the two boys on the couch.

"Where would we be going?" Alex asked.

"To help with the earthquake damage. Lets go." I motioned to the door.

"You can't go anyway." Daniel said.

"And why would that be?" I asked.

"Because your bike broke yesterday. Remember?" Dang it. I had forgotten. Someone would have to come and fix it. Luckily I knew someone who was good at this kind of fixing stuff.

I ran back upstairs and texted Leo.

E: Can you come over and fix my bike?

L: Sure thing. Now?

E: Yeah.

L: I'll be there in about an hour if traffic is normal. But because of the stuff yesterday, it'll probably be more.

E: Kk. I'll push it to the shed for you to have tools.

L: On my way. Can't talk and drive.

I jumped out of the window and dragged the bike to the shed and turned on the lights. No one had been on here for a while. The tools were labeled.

I decided to train a little. I ran a few miles. I worked out. I decided to work with my sais today. I made a mess out of the training dummies. There was straw all over the yard and in the bushes.

I realized it would probably look weird to Leo about this. I didn't care. I just sewed the straw back in them. It didn't take long.

Then I heard footsteps and turned around to see Leo walking towards me with his empty tool belt on, as usual.

"Why do you carry that thing with you if it's empty?" I asked, hanging upside-down from a tree branch.

"What?" he looked down. "Oh. I don't know. Why are you in a tree?"

"Because I wanted to." I stuck out my tongue at him. We both laughed.

I started getting dizzy so I did a flip out of the tree and landed on both feet ten feet in front of Leo.

"Impressive. Now where's the shed?" he asked.

"It's the big wooden structure over there." I pointed to it obviously.

"Oh. Let's go!" he said putting a finger in the air pointing to it like a kid.

I put on a sly smile. "I'll race you."

"You're on. But I'll warn you. I'm pretty fast." I rolled my eyes and got into a starting position. He followed my example.

I had to remind myself not to go too fast and give myself away. Just faster than him. That was all.

He yelled "GO!" and we started running. I was immediately faster than him. There were bushes in the way and I jumped over them like a boss.

"Try to keep up." I yelled back at him.

"Yeah, yeah." he panted as he tripped over a bush.

I laughed as I waited for him at the shed. When he finally got there he was panting and sweating. "It was only a few hundred yard long run." I laughed. He was leaning against a tree. "With bushes."

He caught his breath and looked at me weird. "How are you not tired? That was crazy."

"I run much more than this every morning. I run a lot." it wasn't a lie. I did run a lot. And it never took very long.

"Whatever. Lets just go and fix this thing." he walked into the shed and sat down on a stool next to the broken Harley.

"Are you sure you can fix it?" I asked.

"I can fix anything." he said sarcastically.

"Yeah, sure you can." I said, as I rolled my eyes.

"I can." he said as he pulled out a wrench from his tool belt.

"How did you do that? That thing is empty!" I asked.

"No, I pulled this out of the tool box next to me." he said. I wasn't convinced.

"No, you pulled it out of your belt. How?" I was suspicious.

"No, I didn't. You must be imagining things. I pulled it out of the box." I still wasn't convinced. But he clearly wasn't going to tell me so I let it go. For now at least.

He started working.
