We managed to sneak our way back to where we were before we got hungry. The place where I had fought Jace and Leo had watched.

"Now that I've recovered, do you want to go again?" Jace asked me.

"Sure, why not." I replied casually.

"Then lets go." he looked at Leo then. "Take notes if you want to fight me."

"Okay then. I'm just gonna get out of your way now. Go ahead and fight." Leo backed away a few feet.

"I can still talk while fighting him you know Leo. He's not much of a fight." I laughed.

"Sure." he said, curious if I could actually do this. I got into a fighting stance. It was different this time. I didn't want Jace to expect what I had planned. "So tell me about your brothers."

Jace got into his position too. "Which one first?" I charged him.

He swung, I ducked. Leo talked. "Umm I guess youngest to oldest."

"So Daniel first." I tried to kick Jace there again, but he was expecting this and jumped back. "Daniel is tough for his age. The bullies at his elementary school back off when he walks by. He and Alex are like best friends." I grunted when Jace managed to kick me in the side instead.

"Are you okay Eclipse?" Leo asked me, worried.

"No, I got this." I was mad now. I punched him in the eye, so hard that he would get a black eye. "Alex is tough too, but he's more smarts. He has the best grades in his entire middle school. He can still fight like the rest of the family, but not as good. Daniel has taken him down in wrestling before."

Jace decided to join in the conversation. "Yeah. Those two are inseparable. They get along great. Never seen them apart except for school." I did a backflip away. He charged and I sidestepped.
"They are so nice too. When I first met them, they were creepy. They talked in unison. Then they became themselves. They are so kind."

"Yeah. Just peachy. You should try living with them. They make the worst messes that I have to clean up." I pointed out. Then I Back-kicked Jace in the stomach.

"So Jace, should I probably take notes on how to be in pain?" Leo grinned with sarcasm.

"Ugh." Jace groaned. I laughed. But he wasn't as injured as I had thought. Before I could kick him again, he caught my foot in the air. I had to keep jumping a little to stay balanced and not fall onto my back. He had a sly smile. "Yield?"

"Never." I tried to be tough when he started twisting my leg. I couldn't help wincing with the pain though.

"Eclipse! Jace let go of her foot!" Leo yelled.

"Leo! Shut up! I'm fine!" I grit my teeth. Jace was slowly twisting the leg.

"Yeah. Besides, she didn't say she yielded yet. Eclipse can continue talking about her brothers." Jace said casually.

"Yeah. My other brother, Brandon. He is in college. He has a lot of work to do and that takes up pretty much all of his time. So he's normally in his bedroom. He is my legal guardian because he is over the age of eighteen. He's twenty-four. Seven years older than me. But even though he is the adult, I am the one who does all the stuff around the house. Like taking care of Daniel and Alex. I make dinner, I clean the house, and on top of that, I have school. So... Yeah." I shrugged.

Through that whole time that Jace had had my foot, I had been formulating a plan to get out of this particular situation. I had noticed a few things. His grip was loosening around my ankle. And he kept shifting his weight from foot to foot, like he was nervous. That meant he wasn't balanced. He stopped twisting my leg. It was at an angle now. It didn't hurt as much now, because he had stopped. He appeared to be thinking at the moment. I knew that this was my chance. I pushed the leg he had into his stomach. He stumbled backwards, gripping the place I had kicked him, and let go of my ankle. Then I kicked him in the roundhouse kicked him in the face.

"Wow. Coach Hedge would be proud." Leo stared at me.

"Who?" I asked.

"Oh, just my old coach from Summer Camp. He liked to roundhouse kick things. He was weird."

"I can tell." Jace said as he walked over to where we were talking. "But I give Eclipse the win. I yield." he said reluctantly.

"Cool. So Leo, what else do you want to know?" I asked.

"Umm... What's your favorite food?" he asked.

"Sherrie Brownies." I replied, casual.

"Uhh, who and the what brownies?"

"Oh. My mom used to have this friend named Sherrie who would make us kids these amazing brownies all the time. They were so good." I explained.

"Describe."

"Ugh. I just ate and you two are making me hungry again." Jace complained.

"Yeah, Yeah. Anyways, they were made of chocolate. It had little chocolate chips on the inside and it was like one by one by two inches long. It practically melted in your mouth. I haven't had one in a few years since my mom died. I haven't even seen Sherrie. She moved a few months before her death though, so I can understand why. Next question please." I told them.

"Favorite place." Leo said in a sentence, but meant as a question.

I had to think. "Can it be home?"

"Nope. Has to Leave your house."

"How about this old amusement park I used to go to? It's abandoned now, but"-I whispered the next part- "I sometimes still go there for fun."

"Cool. You're going to have to show me sometime."

I shrugged. "Sure. Why not. Next question."

"When's your birthday?" he asked.

Jace whistled. "Bad move man. Bad move."

"What?" Leo was confused. I could barely hear them over the pounding of my heart though. I heard him speak again. I could barely make out what he said. "Eclipse? Are you okay? You're really pale again." his tone was worried. I was shaking. I felt him touch my arm but I didn't care. I was afraid. I could barely hear anything. I heard a muffled scream for help from Leo to Jace then back to me. He was shaking me, trying to get me to focus. But I couldn't.

Then the terrifying part happened. An earthquake. Right below us. I heard screams from random people in the background. My vision was fuzzy and black dots danced around my eyesight. I was suddenly very tired and worn out. It became harder to breathe. And I knew why. But I couldn't tell anyone. It was too deep a secret that must remain hidden forever. Because it was too dangerous to let out. Then Leo grabbed me and pulled me to shelter. I saw Jace run over here too. They were both worried about me. The last thing I saw before passing out was Leo's face.

But I was still not prepared for what I was about to do. And I didn't know it at the time, but it would cost me.

(A/N) OMG its so late right now. I knew I had to update today and I started writing a few hours ago. This chapter has been a nightmare to write. I had to look up fighting moves and stuff like that. I am also very stubborn so before I started writing, I promised myself that I would not eat anything until I was done, because food would only slow me down. So long story short, its been about six and a half hours since My last food. And that was only a bag of cheerios. So I'm gonna go eat now. Thanks for reading. It's worth the nightmare and hunger when I see all the new reads. Bye....
