The night of a lifetime

The next two days were probably the best ones I had ever experienced in a long time. The next day, Aurora and I went to a different field and played croquet. We went in as goof balls, and came up as pros, more or less. The day after that, Hook was hosting a sword class and we got to learn how to improve our swordsmanship. It was great fun, but I was troubled. No matter what invent I went to, Jafar was always there. And at both events, fate never failed to show it's flirty side. At the croquet game, I hadn't been holding the mallet right and I felt like an idiot. Then Jafar walked over and stood right next to me, his arms on mine directing me, guiding me. The worst part was the fact that his Arabian spice scent was engulfing me, as I tried my best to fight the urge to dig my hands beneath his robes and run my fingers over his muscles. Then at the sword class, we were paired up to fight against each other and I ended up falling on top of him, I could have sworn I felt him tighten under me.

But tonight was the night Aurora and I had been waiting for, tonight was the party night. I stood in front of the floor length mirror Maleficent had recently installed. I was wearing a purple dress that matched the one I had worn on the day father was going to announce the marriage of myself and Prince Ali aka Aladdin. A small tear fell down my face and I wiped it away quickly. I looked over the outfit one last time; the sleeves were long and flowing and went all the way to my wrists, unlike my usual outfit, this dress didn't show a lot of skin, minus the neckline that was shelve less, reveling my collarbone and the very tops of my breasts.

After some time, Aurora had decided to wear one of the new dresses she got, it looked like all the other dresses she had wore before only this one was silver with a dark blue lining. I smoothed my hair back and straightened my crown, nervous as ever. Aurora walked out of the shower, her hair long and silky looking on her shoulders. She straightened her hair and stood next to me, a calm smile on her face as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"How can you be so calm?" I asked, slightly aggravated. She shrugged. "Esmerelda said it was going to be a mostly lay back party and I believe her, I honestly don't see why you're so nervous." Because Jafar's going to be there, that's why. I thought, but I didn't dare say this.

I slowly walked into the throne room, my footsteps shaky and nervous. Just as she promised, Esmeralda was waiting for us. Next to her stood Shen zi, Banzai, Ed, and Scar their fur brushed out and each one of them wearing a little accessory; for Shen zi, a purple bow under her chin, Banzai, a blue plastic beads necklace, Ed, a bell on a red ribbon, and Scar, a dog collar with brown leather. Esmeralda was in a red and purple dress, the same one from her performance at the Festival of Fools.

"This is going to be awesome," Esmeralda squealed, "you guys won't regret this I promise." She ran over to the doors and threw them open before rushing back over to us and taking our hands. "Come on," she said with a laugh, "we've got a party to catch.

The walk to the House of Villains took forever, or maybe it just seemed like that because I was the only one who was freaking out. "Will there be cake?" Aurora said eagerly and Esmeralda nodded. "Cake, candy, cookies, pies, you name it." "Oh, this is so exciting." Aurora said. "This is going to be my first party ever since my Welcome to Disney party." Those were the parties Mickey and Minnie had for every new Disney good character.

"Psst, Jasmine, you okay? You look just about ready to pass out." I turned to look at Scar who was now walking along side me. "No I'm not okay, I fell like shrinking down until I'm no more. What if I do something stupid? What if something goes wrong?" My knees buckled, and I fell onto Scar who was waiting for this. As I lay my head against his mane, I looked down at his tag and was surprised to see not the name Scar, but Taka. "Taka?" I whispered, taking the tag in my hand. "Is that your real name? Taka?" He nodded. "Jasmine, you'll do fine, I promise." He said it so simply, and so calm like, that I was instantly comforted. Slowly, I got to my feet and began walking. As I began walking anew, Scar walked beside me, his mane just beneath my hand so I could stroke it for comfort which I found myself doing a lot more then I expected.

Esmeralda and Aurora were standing at the edge of the clearing, looking at me with slightly worried gazes. "Are you sure you want to do this Jasmine?" Esmeralda said, her green eyes showing worry. "You can always go back..." "No." I said quickly. "You said this was going to be a fun party and I intend to see that you're telling the truth." She smiled happily, a slight look of relief on her face. "Okay then. Let's go." And with that she turned and walked to the House of Villains, Aurora and the rest of us following closely behind.

~

We reached the dark blue doors, bright lights were flickering inside and we could hear music blaring from within. Esmeralda smiled and looked at us over her shoulder. She didn't say anything and to be honest, she didn't need to. With a bravery I was envious of, she grabbed the gold handles and threw the double doors open. What I saw was, was too amazing to put into words.

Scar wasn't kidding when he said the House of Villains was a lot like the House of Mouse. The House of Villains was a large room with tables everywhere for everyone to sit, but no one was sitting. Everyone was everywhere, singing on stage, dancing on tables, flying through the air on magic spells, or at a bar that was in one corner of the room. I stood there staring, my eyes wide and my mouth hanging open. "Isn't it awesome?" Esmeralda said, her voice struggling to contain it's excitement. "I'm speechless." I said. "Glad you like it." She said happily. "I'm gonna go get a drink, you guys can walk around a little." And with that she ran off.

Aurora and I looked around for a little bit, wondering what to do first. "Oh look, there's Maleficent." Aurora said, her voice suddenly happy and eager. "I'm going to go say hello." I opened my mouth, getting ready to shout after her, but she was already gone and I was left with the hyenas and lion.

"Let's go get a drink." Shen zi said. As we made our way across the dance floor, I tried my best not to notice the hungry gazes I was receiving from more then half of the men in the room. When we reached the bar, I instantly recognized Hades standing behind the counter. "Jasmine! You made it!" He said, breaking into his trademark grin. "I was afraid you'd chicken out." "Hardy, har har." I said, rolling my eyes. "So, what'll it be?" He said, placing one arm on the counter. "Blood beers for the hyenas," Scar said, "I'll have a blood beer myself, and give Jasmine the drinker-in-training." Hades nodded and turned around to make the drinks. I turned around to look around the room once more. Jafar wasn't here yet, I hoped he'd get here soon.

A slight clunk brought me back to reality and I turned my head to see a cup of dark red liquid. I looked up at Hades, raising an eyebrow. "It's the drinker-in-training," he explained, "looks, smell, and tastes like wine, but it's just grape juice. Maleficent came up with it awhile back for new drinkers like yourself." I nodded ever so slightly. "Gotcha, thanks." I said. He smiled and walked off to help another customer. I raised the glass and took a small sip, the wine was sweet and tangy, I took a long sip before placing the cup back on the counter. I sighed sadly, realizing yet again that Jafar wasn't here yet.

"Well, well, well. Look who's here." A voice said. For a moment, my heart jumped into my throat with joy, hoping it was Jafar, but then it sank when I recognized it as someone else. Slowly, I turned around to see Captain Hook standing behind me. I could tell he was kind of drunk, I could smell the whiskey on him. He staggers over and flops down on the chair next to me. "What are you doing so alone golden cakes?" Now I know he's drunk, no one has ever talked to me like that before and I find myself blushing immensely. "Hook, would you please so away?" I said, my voice horse with embarrassment. "Why should I? You look like you could use some attention." His hand falls on my shoulder and falls down to my waist. I freeze, I couldn't move even if I wanted to. I suck in a slow breath to calm myself down but my throat closes up and doesn't let it out.

"You look like you could use more then some attention." He said, he drunk voice now with a hint of lust. I tremble and try to speak again, when a shadow falls over me and Hook suddenly looks afraid. "The Princess said back off, so back off, Codfish." A male voice said. Hook nods regretfully, before getting up and walking away. The shadow pulls away and Jafar sits down in the chair in front of me. "You okay?" He asked and I nodded ever so slightly. "You wanna get out of here? That's not going to be the last of the perverts." I looked around the room and turn back towards Jafar. "Yeah, sure." I said. Smiling, he takes ahold of my hand and leads me away from the party towards the door. But I can hardly concentrate, not with his warm hand gently gripping mine.
