Later in the middle of the night...
I stood at the edge of the forest, waiting impatiently for Aurora to show up. Although the area was mostly deserted, I knew the villains were watching from the shadows. Holding their breath, hoping I would decide to stay. At last, Queenie stepped forward and handed me a large cage with a red sheet over it. "It's the pink flamingo and the hedgehog that Alice used to play with." She said sadly. "When you get back, I want you to give this to her. To let her know that I'm more then willing to take her in if she's ever truly alone." I nodded sadly. "I'll make sure she gets it."
As Queenie pulled back, I saw Aurora come walking towards me. With a breath of relief, I watched her as she approached, her head down. "It's about time you got here." I said. "You ready to go?"
There was a pause of silence.
"Aurora?" She jumped a little, as if woken from her thoughts, and looked up at me. "No Jasmine, I'm not." "What do you mean?" I said, suddenly suspicious. "I'm not ready because I'm not going with you." "What?" I whispered. It was then when I noticed Aurora was dressed differently; her dress was black with purple trimming, she was wearing purple shoes and has a purple bow on her head. "I decided I'm staying here, with Maleficent." Maleficent stepped behind Aurora and placed a hand on her shoulder, Aurora touched it lightly.
"I think I belong here Jasmine, with the villains." She said, stumbling over her words. "I know it sounds crazy, but this is where I belong." For a moment, I was stunned. But as I slowly let the words sink in I realized she was right. I nodded slowly, looking her in the eyes. "You take care of yourself okay?" She smiled and nodded. Jafar stepped out from behind Maleficent, his red eyes dull and lifeless. Without a word, I rushed into his arms and he hugged me tightly.
"I had a feeling you might want to go back." He whispered, choking out his words. "I don't know how, but I just did." "So you're not going to miss me?" I joked dryly, he let out a deflated laugh. "Me? Not missing my Tigress? Heh, never." I pulled back to look at him, gently rested my hand on his cheek. "If you ever think of me again, think of me as a friend instead of a foe okay?" He whispered, I smiled and lightly kissed his cheek. "I will, I promise." Reluctantly, I let myself fall out of his grasp and be pulled by Gaston into the forest. I didn't turn around, I just watched in a trance as the Midnight Realm disappeared before my eyes. The last thing I saw was Jafar reaching out to me slightly, silently begging me to come back.
