I arrived at the House of Mouse on a magic that Genie had been so kind to whip up with magic at such short notice. I landed outside the double doors, jumped off, and ran inside.
What I saw made me stop short.
The princesses were all siting around a table, but they looked different somehow, what's more, Meg, Tiana, and Merida were among them and they never came to these meetings. Aurora saw me, and smiled, but it was a sad smile.
"Good, you're here." Cinderella said, she gestured to a empty seat. "Sit down, we have a lot to talk about." I raised a curious eyebrow, but slid into the seat anyway. Cinderella stood up, cleared her throat, and looked around at all of us.
"My dear princess friends," she said, addressing us, "as you all know, we have been having some trouble with our once charming husbands, I brought you guys here to discuss this topic, so that we might be able to do something about it." She turned to Mulan, who was sitting next to her with Mushu on her shoulder. "Tell me Fa Mulan, how have things been going with you and Shang Wu, would you do us the honor expressing your anger first?"
Mulan stood up sharply, and stabbed a dagger into the table, we all jumped.
"With pleasure," she said in a low snarl, "ever since the princes have started having bro time, there has been less time for us to spend with them, I mean...girls need attention too!" "Say it sister!" Tiana exclaimed, leaping to her feet. "Naven hasn't so much as kissed me once ever since he started hanging out with Eric!"
At this comment, all of the Princesses jumped to their feet, each one of them had something to say, even Snow White!
Then suddenly Merida stood up, and all fell silent.
"That is why I'm here," she said in her fascinating Scottish accent, "I be here to teach you all the ways of fighting, so that we can show these Princes once and for all, we're not their servants, we're their wife's and they should treat us like such! Now who's with me?!"
We all jumped to our feet, cheering and waving our fists.
"Then let's go!" She said and out we marched.
And that, pray tell, was only the beginning of my new life.
