*Once again, I apologize for not updating sooner. Enjoy! :-)*
For the next week, I lived a double life. By day, I tried my best to stand Aladdin's abusive behavior, and by night I lay happily in Jafar's arms, telling him everything that had happened the day before. But I knew I couldn't keep going like this, Aladdin was going to find out and when he does, he would make me wish I was never born. I was just getting ready to find a way to tell him when I heard a bit of news I knew was important and meant danger for my Ruby and I.

It was another peaceful night, Genie sat in one area of the garden, and Jafar and I sat atop a hill, looking out at the stars. I didn't want to tell Jafar what I knew but I knew if I didn't, it would mean the end of everything.
"Jafar?" I asked, he looked at me with a sweet smile on his face. "Yes my little tigress?" I giggled at the nickname. "I was listening to a conversation Aladdin was having with Phillip yesterday and found out something terrible." Jafar stiffened, I took a nervous breath. "The Princes, they're planning to attack the Midnight Realm." Genie, who happened to be drifting by on a breeze, sat up, instantly causing him to fall.
"The Princes? Are planning an attack? After all these years of being content that they won? You're kidding right?" I wanted so badly to say I was, but I shook my head sadly. His eyes went wide.
"We're in trouble." Genie said, and for once, Jafar agreed.

Several days later, I was running quickly through the streets to the Midnight Realm. Oh man this a bad idea, Aladdin's going to kill me if he finds out I ran away. I reached the trees and got ready to leap over when I heard someone behind me. I cursed softly under my breath before slowly turning around. Standing two feet away, was Alice, flamingo under one arm and hedgehog in hand. To say I was stunned it was her of all people is an understatement.
"Hello Jasmine." I managed a small smile. "Hey Alice, you wouldn't tell anyone will you?" "Not if you take me with you." I froze. "That's not a good idea..." "I'm going with you." And I knew there was no winning this.
We trekked quietly through the forest, silent as mice. We reached the path to the village, where we found Gaston was standing on a hill, shooting down geese. One of them landed at our feet, causing Alice to jump and scream. I rolled my eyes. She's got a lot of work ahead of her.
"Jasmine! I thought you'd never come back." I smiled, striding towards him. "And miss out on a place like this? Never!" He laughed, but stopped once he noticed Alice. "Who're you?" Alice gulped nervously before speaking. "I-I'm Alice." His eyes went wide. "Alice? As in Queenie's-only-joy Alice." Her eyes went wide. "She misses me?" "Heck yeah. come one you two, lets go tell Maleficent you've returned."
~
We entered the throne room where I saw Aurora sitting in a throne similar to Maleficent's. The two of them smiled once they saw me, Aurora jumped up and embraced me in a hug. "Oh Jasmine. I knew you'd come back soon, I just knew it." Once she spotted Alice, her eyes went huge. "Oh, you brought a friend." Then they went even wider when she recognized her. "Wait a minute, you're Alice aren't you?" She nodded, Aurora's mouth dropped, she looked at Maleficent who smiled sweetly.
"Queeine's in the fields playing croquet, if you hurry you may catch her.
~
Alice, Aurora, and I all ran across the ground, Alice being as nervous as the white rabbit is fluttered. We finally reached the field just as a green hedgehog sailed over our heads, which Alice somehow manged to catch without pricking her fingers. We finally rounded the corner where we spotted Queenie standing several feet away. Her frown turned into a look of pure shock, Alice was still for an instant before she jumped up and squealed. "Red!" She said before running across the ground into the Queen's arms. "Oh Alice, you're back. I knew you'd come back. I'm so happy you're back." It took about a minute for Aurora and I to start bailing our eyes out.
