You grow, on the giant tree
Yet it's autumn and you want to flee
So you fell,
from the enormous treeLeaf please don't
Don't leave me be
My twigs empty, cold from the cooled down wind
Whispers of loneliness carried through the saddening sky
Dear leaf, you left me — why?Frozen tears hanging from the lively wood
The only company that wants to stay, always flies far
far away. Yet they come back, when time is ripe
To taste the fruits, that grew from the blooming blossom
The blossom I made, when happiness was in the air.Now that the leaves are gone, there's no one to catch my tears
But then the grass catches the droplets and takes away
all my fears. You are not the only tree, that's left alone
Leaves will leave, when time is frozen
But grass will always grow beneath your trunk, it will never
leave. You only need to notice that tiny grass blade
blooming underneath you in de wind
