On Monday, I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing with a text. I opened my eyes and adjusted to the light. The clock read 7:42. I picked up my phone to check the text.

Hey sweet cheeks

I thought I told you not to text me

Couldn't resist

Why do you keep bugging me anyway?

I still haven't won the bet

Seriously? Can't you just forget about it?

Can't back down from a bet. Gotta live up to my expectations babe

Whatever

So I'll pick you up at 7 tonight

Excuse me?

I gotta go on one date with you. That's all.

Fine. One date. That's all!

No I'm not giving you my adress. Let's meet up somewhere.

You're so picky. Not as nice as you look.

I could say the same about you

Fine. Cya soon sweet cheeks ;)

Great. I cannot believe what I got myself into. Since I'm already up, I decide to get ready for work.

Once I'm ready, I drive to my office in downtown LA, where I've been working as a fashion designer for the past couple months. I started working here straight out of college and I've loved it ever since. I even opened a new store in LA called 'Hidden Shadows Fashion.'

I park in my usual spot and walk into the building. After greeting and signing in at the front, I go into my office to begin working on many of my clients' requests.

I spend the rest of the day doing my usual work and then around 5, I get back home. With only two hours left until my dreadful date, I'm pacing back and forth trying to figure everything out. I haven't been on a date in God-knows-how-long and I don't even know Zayn! There's only one solution for this. I call Aria as I flipping through my closet. She picks up on the second ring.

"Aria! I need major help!"

"What's wrong?"

"I'm going on a date with Zayn and I don't know what to wear."

"Are you serious?! I'm so glad you listened to me! You're going to have so much fun."

"If I can figure out how to get ready!"

"Well do you know where you're going?"

"No! That's the problem. I have no idea."

"Just wear something casually dressy. Like maybe a skirt or something."

"It's like 20 degrees out Ari!"

"Well you have to pick. Wowing or warm?" I groan.

"I hate this."

"Alright well have fun," she quickly disconnects the call.

After what seemed like hours of struggling I decide on jeans with a pink halter top and a black cardigan over it all. For jewelry, I wear a black flower necklace. I leave my hair down and put on a hint of makeup. After grabbing my phone and purse I begin walking to our meeting point.
