The door to the treehouse flew open and banged against the wood wall. I jolted awake and looked to see what had happened. Safaa was right outside the treehouse, positioned on the ladder so she could see me.

"Mom says you have to go take a shower or else the hot water will go away," she simply stated, then climbed back down the ladder and bounced away. I pulled a blanket off me, which I hadn't had last night, and noticed that Zayn was gone also.

I climbed down the treehouse and went back into the house through the back door, which had been left open for. Trisha was sitting in the living room flipping through magazines.

"Good morning. How was sleeping in the treehouse?"

"A lot more comfortable than I would've thought. Thank you for asking," I smiled back. "Do you um, know where Zayn went?"

"Oh yeah! He told me to tell you to get ready and that he'll be back in a bit to pick you up," she answered. "Do you know where you're going?"

"No. I just wanted to go sight-seeing around in Bradford."

"Well that sounds like fun!" She exclaimed. "Anyway, the bathroom's all yours. If you need anything just ask."

"I will," I smiled again. "Thanks!" Then, I went upstairs to Waliyha's room to get all my stuff.

The shower was warm and relaxing, but it began to cool down towards the end, just like Safaa had said. I got dressed and walked out of the bathroom and went downstairs.

Zayn was also home now and he smiled when he saw me.

"Ready sweet cheeks?" I grinned at the metion of his old pet name for me. He got up off the couch and led me out the door and to his car.

"We'll be back late mum so don't wait up!" He called into the house, just as he closed the door behind him. I had noticed his sudden happiness, as opposed to the last couple days we've been together.

"What's gotten into you?" I asked as we began to drive away from his house.

"What do you mean?" He asked, glancing sideways at me.

"You seem.... happier than normal."

"You don't like it?"

"No, I love it! It's just different I guess. Different than how we're acted with other lately."

"Well you leave in a couple days and I didn't want our silly fights to ruin all the fun."

"You're right. Let's forget everything and pretend we're the same friends we were a couple months ago."

"Agreed," he smiled crookedly and then focused his attention back on the road.

"So where are we going first?"

"I was thinking we should go eat. There's this place I want to show you."

"Yes! Food sounds great!" I laughed. He laughed along with me.

In a few minutes, we pulled up in front of a small restaurant.

"Welcome to Bradford Diner." He got out of the car and walked around to my side. Before I could even touch the handle, Zayn opened the door and allowed me to get out.
