It had now been a week and Alex was still sulking at Ivy's house. On the bright side, Zayn and I had finally moved the last of his things into my apartment and he had patched up all the issues with the landlord. After placing his last bag in my, well our, room, I sighed, "Finally."
"I know," he agreed. He threw himself on the bed so he was facing the ceiling, making the whole bed shake.
"Whoa. You're going to break my bed," I said, as I layed down next to him.
"It's going to break anyway, sweet cheeks," he said, smiling to himself. "Now that we're living together. You're also going to have to invest in a new coffee table."
"What no! That's gross," I exclaimed. He opened his eyes and turned his whole body to me.
"You're never done it on a coffee table?"
"No... have you?"
"Of course."
"Oh. Well, where else have you done it," I asked, sarcastically. He didn't get my sarcasm and started listing places.
"Dining table, couch, cha-" I stopped him before he could go on.
"Well sorry I don't meet your standards," I said, as I turned on my other side so my back was facing him.
"No, you're perfect," he scooched closer to me and snaked his arms around my waist. "The bed is just fine, sweet cheeks."
A smile tugged at my lips, but I tried my hardest to stop it. I scooted further away from him, got up from the bed and said, "Well doesn't matter now." I glanced down at my watch. "I have to get ready to go back into work."
"I should probably look for a job too, huh?"
"I should hope so. I don't know if I can make enough money for the both of us," I agreed, as I went to change my clothes for work today. He groaned, then got up also.
"I'll look around today," he sighed.
"Okay." I walked out and followed Zayn downstairs. "I'll be back around four."
"So I have to stay alone until then?" He sighed.
"Guess so. Sorry." I stood on my tip toes and kissed him as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Will you make it up to me?" He grinned.
"No," I said confidently.
"Fine, I'm not letting you go," he spoke, as he tightened his grip.
"Then how will I make money to buy a new coffee table," I smirked. His grin widened as he let go of me. "Ok now I'm late." I quickly grabbed my things.
"I love you!" I called as I rushed out the door.
"Love you too!"
Work was the same, though we did get word saying my line had spread through a few cities in Italy and my company was making extra profit. This was extremely exciting news, but that meant all the more work for me. Zayn wouldn't be too happy about this.
