The next day, Aria set up a get-together with a couple of friends. We all needed to get out and get our minds off of things, especially me. Ivy, Scarlet, Aria, Alex, and I were currently shopping at the mall.

"How about this one?" Alex asked me, throwing me a red dress. I shook my head. We wanted to find me the perfect dress to get Jake's attention again. He was seriously mad at me; he even went to the extremes of skipping our on our sessions. They all handed me more dresses and shoved me into the dressing room.

After many long minutes of searching we finally found the perfect black dress to wear. I just had to somehow get Jake to not ignore my calls.

"This was such a great day," Ivy exclaimed, as we all headed out to our cars. "I just hope Xander doesn't check out bills." We laughed.

"So how's it going, living with your boyfriend?" I asked.

"It's a lot of fun being able to spend so much time with eachother."

"What do you do in sooo much time," Scarlet teased. Ivy began blushing, answering our question.

We decided to meet up at Panera Bread for lunch so we drove seperately in our cars there. We sat at a table big enough for all of us and a waiter took our order, then left.

"How's Carter?" Scarlet asked Aria.

"He's getting better slowly, but he can't do much around his apartment so I have to do most of it.

"That must be tiring," Alex agreed. Suddenly, my phone rang. I read the caller ID.

"It's Jake!" I exclaimed, then jumped out of seat and went outside to talk to him.

"Um hi."

"Hey. Sorry that I got so angry at you."

"It's okay. It was my fault anyway. I need to be spending more time with you."

"I hope so because I miss you."

"I miss you too Jake," I said. "Even though it's only been a couple days."

"A couple days too many."

"So we're still on for Valentine's Day?"

"Absolutely. I have everything planned and I'm picking you up at 5 tommorow."

"Okay. And I'm sorry again Jake. I promise, Zayn and I are just friends."

"I believe you."

"Thank you," I say. "So I'll see you tommorow, then?"

"Tommorow," he agreed. I ended the call and walked back in, squealing like a little girl.

"Someone's a bit excited," Scarlet said.

"Yes! Jake said everything is okay and we're still going out tommorow for Valentine's Day."

"Oh that's great!" Ivy exclaimed.

"That means we'll need to deck you up extra special," Ari added. I just smiled at them, silently screaming on the inside.

Once we had all finished out lunch, we hung out for a bit on the benches outside the restaurant.

"Well this was productive. I spent half my paycheck." We all laughed, agreeing about how much money we spent on clothing and other trinkets. Suddenly, Ari elbowed my arm. I followed her gaze to where she was pointing. Zayn was wrapped up with some girl, both kissing eachother like there was no tommorow. I stared at them for a second then said to Ari,

"I don't care. From now on, all I care about is Jake." Zayn noticed me, but I quickly reverted my eyes away from them as we all walked to our respective cars. I tried my hardest not to glance back at them every once in a while but the truth was, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Why did I want to be the girl in his arms so badly? I had Jake. Wasn't that enough?
