"Surprise!" I was taken aback by the outburst and had to keep myself from falling backwards. I regained my balance and focused my attention to what was going on. There was a small crowd of people standing around a large table with many plates and silverware set out. People that I knew. All my friends from LA.
"W..what are you guys doing here? Oh nevermind! Come here!" I held out my arms and hugged each of them.
Zayn did the same, but only a couple people since he wasn't exactly on the best terms with everyone, for some reason.
"You really think we would've missed this?" Carter teased, throwing his arm around my shoulder.
"Look, I love you guys to death, but really?" I asked again.
"No, he's messing," Alex jumped in. "Luke and I are getting married in Italy now!"
"Really?! Wow that's great!"
"Since you couldn't be at the wedding, I brought the wedding to you."
"Aww, you're so great!" I gave Alex another hug.
"Enough of the hugs," Xander chimed. "Let's eat! I'm starved!" We all laughed and sat around the large round table. On my left was Zayn and Aria was on my right. As people continued their own conversations, Aria leaned in to my ear.
"Um Nikki?"
"Yeah?"
"Why is Zayn here?" She whispered. I gave her a look.
"What do you mean? He's my boyfriend. Why wouldn't he be here?"
"Didn't you say that you guys broke up?" Then, I remembered that the last time I had talked to Aria was when I was going to the airport alone without Zayn.
"It's a cute story," I chuckled. "Once I got inside to the waiting area, before I got onto the plane, Zayn got there too and he had his bags with him. Turns out, he wanted to come with me all along." Aria smirked.
"I'm telling you, Nikki. Perfect fairytale." I rolled my eyes at her.
"Whatever," I laughed.
In a couple minutes, a waitress came by to take our order. Everyone told her what they wanted and then she left with a notepad filled with orders.
"So do you already have it all planned?" I asked Alex and Luke.
"Yeah! We're having it in a cathedral and there's going to be a ton of people and it's going to be just perfect." She smiled, as she clapped her hands together.
"When is it?"
"In a couple weeks. Our parents should be getting here in a couple of days."
"Oh fun! And what about the dresses and flowers and cake and decorations?"
"Oh yeah! That reminds me. I know you're probably a bit busy right now, but do you think you could maybe design my dress?"
"It would be my pleasure Alex! Anything for you." I smiled.
"Great, thanks! Anyway, I have an idea about everything else."
Luke looked just a bit surprised so I asked him, "You don't have a say in this?"
He pulled a face. "No way! Dealing with all this is the last thing I want."
Alex glanced at him, angrily. Luke threw his hands up in surrender. "Sorry. I didn't mean that. I love you." Alex looked away and grunted.
"Guess who's not getting laid tonight?" Carter smirked.
