We finally got out of school and we all went back to my place. I gave everyone some coconut juice, chips and an oatmeal cookie.
"Thanks." They both said.
"No problem. Y'all wanna do something tonight?" I asked.
"Like...what...?" Denzel's eyes widened.
I smirked. "Vandalize some shit?"
"Toni you know damn well you ain't like that. Grandma gon fuck you up. She'll fuck yo ass up." He said in a deep voice. "Fuck ya up. Fuck a nigga up, gon jack you up. Tear you a-"
"Shut up!" I chopped his throat. "it was just a suggestion cuz we ain't doing shit in the damn apartment and no I'm not going to the park. Tired of going to that ghetto ass place. Everybody baby mama be over here."
*Flashback*
"Diz my baby daddy!" A woman yelled while holding her son. Two other guys were with her.
"No it's not, Leysha. Diz my muhfuckin son. This nigga just over here claiming kids." One of the guys said.
Rakim and I were sitting on the benching holding in our laughter.we were both in tears.
*End Of Flashback.*
"You right! We was dead!" Rakim snickered.
Denzel started laughing. "Why are you laughing like that?"
"His laugh kills everyone!" I chuckled and started touching on Denzel's dreads.
"What's wrong with it?" I felt him get a little insecure.
"Nothing! It's just very unique. Spray bottle laughter."
"Ouch Toni."
"Sorry."
"Mmm." Rakim went to his book bag and sighed. "I'm leaving ok?"
"What? Why?" Denzel asked while getting on his knees so I could mess with his hair.
"Just gotta do stuff. See y'all later. Love you lil Toni." He raced out the door.
"The fuck he in a rush for?"
I sighed. "Probably just got a text that some girl home alone."
Denzel looked up at me. "I know you ain't getting mad at a nigga for getting some pussy."
"Don't you not like Rakim?" I put my hand on my hip. "What happened to he just feel on himself for no damn reason. He ain't special."
"Things change. He's chill now."
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and went to my room leaving Denzel in the kitchen alone.
"What are you upset for?" He yelled.
"For fucks sake! Did you not listen when I skyped you the other time!? He sells drugs!"
"And what? What's it to you?" He walked into my room with his hands in the pocket of his joggers.
"It's everything to me! He's risking his life and family doing what he's doing!" I shook my head. "Fuck it. I don't need to bust my ass making sure that you understand."
