Neither one of us could sleep. The clock on his nightstand read 2:18 a.m in red while it blinked.

"Denny." I said.

"What?" He starred at the ceiling while the moonlight lit the room.

"Why did we have to move away from the living room? Who was that on the phone?"

"Never get tired of asking questions, do you?"

"If I was tired of asking I would have never asked you smart one." Him getting aggravated was making me aggravated.

"It ain't nobody."

"Stop fucking doing that!"

"Doing what?"

"Protecting me from everything! Who was it!?"

"Fine! You really wanna know?!" He said angrily. "Juggy! That nigga Juggy, he called and was like I know you in town now with Toni and we want her. We're watching you."

"That's all you had to say!!!!" I yelled. "You fucking idiot! I told yo ass that someone was watching us! And what did you say!?"

He flipped over and mumbled. "I ain't got time for this."

"No, tell me what you said, cause you were obviously wrong! You always have to and want to be right! It's like you're always right and I'm always wrong when it's really just you saying nothing but bullshit!"

"Yeah. You right." He said sarcastically.

"I really am. I could stay up here and tell you everything that's wrong with us! I just want you to trust me like I trust you! You don't understand what we got ourselves into!"

"What you got yourself into." He said.

I looked at him in disbelief. "This isn't my fault!"

He sat up. "It's not your fault!? Maybe if you weren't a nosy ass bitch two years ago we wouldn't be in this. If you haven't decided to look down that window or look that nigga shit up we would actually be something instead of two grown ass people hiding from grown ass niggas!"

I got out the bed and went to where my suitcases were. I put on joggers, a hoodie and some converses. I combed my hair and made sure everything was with me.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Home, so you and your parent don't have to worry about me since I caused you so many problems acting like you the only one going through this shit. Bye."

He chased me until we made it out the neighborhood.

"You ain't gotta do this! It's not safe for you to go out on your own." The wind blew his dreads.

A taxi pulled up and I put my stuff in the trunk and in the car. "Bye Denzel. I'll see you someday."

I slammed the door and told the taxi driver where I wanted to go. He was a young guy, wasn't common for a taxi driver but I didn't mind it.

After thirty minutes the Taxi pulled up at a house.

"I said the airport." I said.

The man got out and some guys opened both the backseat doors and yanked me out.

"This the girl!?!" One of them yelled.

"Yeah!" The one grabbing me said. He put a chloroform rag over my face and Knocked me out.
