The weather was finally getting decent. Amanda glances out the window looking out at the water of the ocean view. Her father was finishing a few items up for work and then he had promised her he would take her outside. When he was finally finished, he came downstairs and smiled as he glanced over at his daughter. "Alright sweetie. Go get your coat." Amanda turns her head and looks up at her dad smiling. "We can go?" He laughs. "Yes we can go." She quickly gets up off the couch and runs upstairs to grab her coat. She comes down a few minutes later and starts to put on her shoes. "I'm ready." David picks up his daughter and heads out the few feet to the shoreline. As they began to walk along the ocean, she noticed a familiar dark haired boy playing in the sand. She smiles and glances up. "Can I daddy?" David gave his daughter an approving nod watching as she rushed over to her friend.
"Hi Jack!" She said in her usual upbeat kind of tone. Jack looks up and gives her a smile in return. "Hello Amanda." He said a little shyly. Jack was complete opposite of Amanda's personality. He was rather shy, and it was harder for him to make friends. But when Amanda had come to introduce herself, something about her seemed to click, and it was rather quite easy to talk to her.
After they have been out for quite some time, David had hinted to Amanda that they need to be leaving soon. She looks up at her father. "Can Jack come over tonight daddy?" "I'm afraid not sweetie. We are going to have some guests tonight." Amanda gives David an odd look. "Guests? We rarely ever have guests." "Well. These guests are very special. I think you will like them. At least I am hoping." Amanda gets up and follows her dad back to the beach house. She was curious as to knowing who these people were that her father had invited over. The only person who ever came was her uncle. Once the two make their way back to the house, Amanda goes to her room and gets ready for the guests to arrive.
