"We're just best friends, honestly." Tyler stated for the third time, looking around the lunch table, at his new group of friends who were all looking at him and Josh sceptically.
"Right," Joe waved around his pizza slice as he dragged out the word, ignoring the vegan beside him who was staring in disgust. "And Pete and Mikey hate each other." He rolled his eyes and pointed at Mikey, who was waiting for Pete and looking around the canteen.
"Well, they did!" Josh raised his arms in defence, while Andy snatched the pizza out of Joe's hand and threw it on the floor.
"Who did what?" Pete had just walked over, and sat down next to Mikey, kissing his cheek. He received a collected sigh from the group, but a smile from Mikey, and to Pete, that's all that mattered.
"I play ukulele." Tyler tried his best to change the subject, interjecting as quickly as he could to avoid the subject, and in result making Frank laugh his head off. "What?" Tyler snapped, glaring at Frank.
"It's just-" Frank started, wiping his eyes, but a loud and obnoxious voice shouted over the top of his, drowning him out.
"What the actual fuck! I literally can't find Ryan anywhere!" Brendon had appeared out of nowhere and his hair was sticking up from him running his fingers through it so many times in panic.
"Brendon, you're so obsessed with him, stop being so goddamn clingy!" Pete groaned at the annoying boy who sat at the end of the crowded table, placing his head in his hands.
Brendon couldn't help it, though. He loved Ryan so much, and he didn't care if he was cheesy and clingy as hell, because he just wanted to be with Ryan. After he messed up once, he was scared of doing it again. So he never left Ryan's side. That's why he was so fucking worried as to where Ryan had gone, he hadn't seen him since his second drink in that party.
"I know, but do you have any idea what could be up with him?" Brendon shook as he said those words, he didn't trust these guys, and they most likely didn't care anyway.
"Um, no? He's probably sick or something, probably." Pete grumbled, turning back to his boyfriend, proving Brendon's point.
He smiled as he watched Mikey eat his salad. Pete had never felt so happy, but now he was with the boy who loved Pete just as much as Pete loved him.
Brendon muttered a quiet string of curses under his breath, before getting up and stumbling off, not even acknowledging the two new boys added to the usual group.

Spencer sat on the corner of his bed, staring at the wreck in front of him. Ryan was shaking badly, tears streaming down his face.
Ryan was heartbroken, and he had turned to Spencer for help.
The two skipped school, and stayed in Spencer's room, since his parents were never home to bother that he hadn't gone to school that day."Ryan, it's going to be okay." He patted Ryan carefully on the back, but Ryan only rocked back and forwards, shaking his head.
"No it's not. It's not."Ryan didn't know what to do, as soon as he got the news, he left the party immediately, leaving behind an already tipsy Brendon. He had sat in his room and cried for about two hours before he had fallen asleep.
His parents had died in a car crash, and he got the news over a stupid text from his aunt that he never talked to, telling him that his parents had died the day before.
He was pissed that he knew too late, and that nobody cared about him knowing. He was their kid, and now he was alone. He had no clue as to what he was going to do.
