The Unstoppable

Help

Today I woke up around noon, oh crap. I have one hour to get ready for Benjamin. We have lessons today. I'm going to teach him everything my dad taught me. I couldn't stop thinking about Beth and Jackson. I was such a jerk to her. I could have understood that she is the girliest girl that I know. I was contemplating on how to apologize. I decided to wear a Panic! At the Disco shirt, with tight skinny jeans and converse shoes. I curled my hair and put on makeup. Used my moms best perfume and deodorant. Gosh, I don't think that I have smelled this good since everything turned to crap. Wait, am I trying to impress a boy? Yep I am. 

I climbed out of my window and started to walk, all of the sudden I saw.....Jackson. Ugh. " Hey, Paige! Wait!" He thinks I can hear him. I put in my music and start walking the other way. " Paige stop!" I turned around. " Please don't be mad at Beth. Please, we just want to be happy! And if u have a problem with that then maybe you shouldn't be friends with her." He had his hands crossed. " Ok, maybe you are right, but she never makes any attempts to come to me. She is always with you! Why should I be friends with someone who ditches me!" I raised my voice. "Yeah, ok. Maybe you shouldn't be so self absorbed! Not everyone has time to spend time with you! If you actually tried to make friends then you wouldn't be alone! I started to walk away and ignored everything he said. I started to cry, tears and mascara running down my face. I started to run, fast towards the wall. I saw Benjamin and ran towards him. He saw me running and I ran up to him and put my face against his chest and was crying. He put his arms around me and my face was covered by my hands. He was warm. He picked me up and held me. After a while of holding me he took me to a seat. I caught my breath and wiped my eyes. I knew that makeup was everywhere. He seemed not to care. Have I just found someone? Someone who doesn't point out every flaw? I sat there for a while, not even saying anything at all. After about an hour, I finally talked. " You wouldn't understand." My voice was sniffy. " I'm here for you."  I must have fallen asleep because I woke up in my bed with a note,

- Paige, you fell asleep in my lap. Must have been a long day! 

We can do training tomorrow @ noon.

I flipped over and fell asleep. 

I woke up to the sound of screaming to the sound of Beth's voice. I frantically got up and grabbed my gun not even caring that I was in spandex and a crop top. I loaded my gun and ran out of window. I saw Beth and one of those things. I ran as fast as I could. Someone was hitting it with a shovel but it came faster. I ran to her and the next thing I saw was her on the ground and the thing on top of her. I shot it in the head. After that she didn't wake up. " Beth! Beth no wake up! I love you to much to die! Jackson was crying that this point. All I remember is someone picking her up and taking her to a urgent care center. 

" Ok, Ben. Now here is a few things I need to teach you before you handle you a gun. Safety first, never point a gun at anyone else. When you pick up a gun, make sure the chamber is empty. Also, make sure that the magazine is out. When we are at the range, never fire it down range unless everyone is behind the line, and  make sure that everyone knows that you are going to shoot. Tell people you are going hot. After you shoot say all clear. Guns can kill." I was talking fast. " Did you get all of that?" I was laughing. " Where did u learn all of that stuff?" He was smiling so hard. " My dad taught me everything that I know." I could feel my face get really red. " Oh, hey and nice outfit! I really like the shirt." He basically checked me out. " Oh, thanks. I didn't have time to change after I saved my best friends life this morning. In fact, I never got to do anything after. So yeah thanks." I was embarrassed. " Okay, so that's all for today. " I was so awkward. " Would you want to meet at your house for dinner? I'll take us somewhere." He was cool about it. " Yea sure that would be great. How about eight?" OH MY GOD. " Eight sounds good see you there." I turned around and started walking. After I knew he was gone I started to jump up and down. I headed home to change and then to the hospital. I walked through the doors. " Im here for Beth." Everyone in town knows everyone. " Alright it will be a while just take a seat Paige." 

I had fallen asleep for maybe an hour..........
