The Unstoppable

I woke up to the chirping of the birds.  I decided to get up and clean myself up. I had some classes that I needed to teach to the little kids. Beth was there for me the whole time, along with Jackson. I didn't seem to hate him so much now. We are actually friends.

After classes I ran into Benjamin. " Hey Paige, wait up." He started to walk faster. I started jogging towards my house and almost made it. I opened the door and almost closed it, but he stopped me from shutting it. I ran up the stairs, he followed. I  grabbed the ring. " Here you can have it back." I threw it at his face. " Ow, what was that for?" He rubbed his head. "Oh, don't even play that game with me!" I was so angry. " What are you talking about Paige?" He walked towards me. " I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME." I started to cry. I couldn't decide if I was more angry or sad. I ran down the stairs and over to the corner, as Benjamin followed.  I  grabbed my dads shotgun. " wooo, Paige what are you doing?" He had his hands in front of him. " I......I thought you loved me." Tears were covering my eyes and everything was blurry. I cocked the gun, " Paige just calm down!" BOOM. I shot him right in the knee cap. His leg was detached, and he was holding on to the wall in pain. " HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!" I was screaming on the top of my lungs. I cocked the shotgun again. " No, no Paige please. Wait, it's not wha......" Boom. I shot  him directly in the middle of the chest. He fell to the ground limp. Jordan ran in the door. " What was tha..... OMG BENJAMIN." She ran over to him and knelt down.  I was crying with the shotgun still in my hand, I cocked it on last time. Jordan got up and  backed away. " Don't do this Paige, It was an acciden......" BOOM. She fell to the ground with her arms around her, blood was puddling by her body. I dropped the gun and fell to the ground,  I lay there for some time.  Where was Jackson's hug when you needed it?

I feel asleep laying on the floor leaving Jordan and Benjamin on the ground.

" Paige? Paige wake up!" It was Jackson. He was shaking me. "Paige, please wake up!" I opened my eyes. And instantly hugged him. " Thank god you are here." We were hugging each other tight. He was holding me in his arms while I cried. " Sh, it's going to be okay Beth is coming." His hand was on my head holding my hair. I stopped crying and he let go. After that my body felt like a ghost, all the warmth gone. I sat holding my legs and moving back and fourth. He sat next to me. " What happened?" He put his jacket around me. " It was Benjamin, h...he cheated on me. He was my first love. I was angry, and sad at the same time." Jackson rubbed my arm. " Jordan she came after I shot him, and I killed her too." Tears slipped away. " Oh, i'm so sorry Paige." He put his arm around me. My body was finally warm. 

Beth walked in and stared at the bodies, then us. Jackson stared and her giving her a help me look. She ran over to me and hugged me. I couldn't stop crying, she brought me my favorite pillow. Jackson sat on one side, and Beth on the other. We all sat together. Finally I got up and changed my clothes and threw them into a bucket of soap and water. I let them soak for a while. " Can you guys help me at the cemetery? We need to dig two holes." I grabbed two shovels. . Jackson grabbed one. " Yeah sure." Beth followed. We walked over, and started to dig. It took Jackson and I a while to dig ones long and deep enough, but we finished. " Beth, will you go inside and clean up the bodies?" She looked at me. " Yeah sure." She walked inside. I noticed she started to mop the floor  with gloves and protective clothes. After she was done we brought Jordan and Benjamin out. 

We put the bodies in the holes. " Wait guys." I grabbed my gun. " I think they might turn because they weren't shot in the head." I put in three bullets. Click. I pulled the trigger. I did the same thing three times.  We put the dirt back. I grabbed some wood and carved Benjamin and Jordan on it. I placed in far into the soft spot in the ground. 

The smell was horrific. We opened windows and cleaned and scrubbed the floors and walls more than once. We lit candles to help the smell. I painted over the blood spots that didn't come out. My parents never come home that often,  they are always out in about in the community. And my dad works all the time. 

" Beth." Jackson whispered. " Can I give Paige another hug?" Beth nodded. He walked over to me and gave me a hug. I wrapped my arms around his head and held him tight.  Did I ever mention how tall he was compared to me?
