The One That Got Away

Chapter 10:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. It was 7:15 and I had to get to school by 8. I took a quick shower, brushed my hair and teeth. 

I went into my room went through my closet to pick something out to wear. I decided on my white shorts, my black lace shirt, and my black flats. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=95904839

I went into the bathroom and applied some makeup and then left my hair with its natural wave. 

I went downstairs and checked the time on the oven. It was 7:45. I grabbed my bag quickly and left my house. 

I met Emily and Savannah at the corner and we started walking to school. We got there at exactly 8:00 and me and Emily made our way to class.

Class went by quickly and I havent seen Harry today. I headed to English with Savannah and we took our seats. Mr.Evans took attendance and then told me to bring it to the office. As I was walking down the hallway I saw posters for tryouts for basketball. 

I was athletic so maybe I could give it a try. When I entered the office I saw Stephanie talking to the administrator. I handed in the attendance and went back to class. 

When I got in, Savannah wasnt in the class. I guess she went to the bathroom. 

After about 10 minutes I wondered where Savannah was. 

I raised my hand and went up to Mr. Evans' desk.

"Where is Savannah?" I asked.

'She went to the bathroom" He said.

"For ten minutes?" I asked 

"Oh well I havent really been paying attention. Would you mind going to get her?" Mr.Evans asked.

"Sure" I said and waked out of the classroom.

When I walked into the bathroom, I could only hear crying. "Hello?" I asked.

I went closer to where the crying was coming from and when I saw who was crying I was immedietly crouching on the floor.

"Savannah?" I said.

She kept crying and I could see a bruise on her arm.

"Savannah? Who did this to you? I asked her.

"A-Ash-hley and-" She stuttered and I cut her off.

"Zayn?" I finished off. 

She kept crying and after a few minutes she calmed down. 

"Do you want to go back to class or do you want to wait until the bell rings?" I asked.

"Im gonna stay here." She responded.

"Ok stay here and i'll come back when class is over....do you want me to tell Mr.Evans?" I said and got up.

'No dont please......ok' She responded.

When I got back to class I walked straight to my desk trying to not receive any questions from Mr.Evans.

"Arianna?" He  said 

"Yes" I said.

He told me to go to his desk and I did.

"Where is Savannah?" He asked.

"Bathroom." I simply responded.

"What is she doing? Is she coming back? Why has she been in there for so long?" He asked all these questions at once.

I remembered what Savannah told me.

"Ok stay here and i'll come back when class is over....do you want me to tell Mr.Evans?" I said and got up.

'No dont please...... she said.

"

"Uh shes fine. She just went to the office now because she wasnt feeling so well" I said

"Ok." He said looking at me suspiciously.

I had just left school with Emily and Savannah and we were walking to Savannahs house. I wondered why Harry didnt come to school today.

From the corner of my eye I saw Ashley, Kate,Zayn, and that kid Josh talking.

"Guys" I said and hit Savannah and Emily lightly on the arm and pointed to the group.

"Uh lets go before they see us" Emily said but by then it was too late. They saw us and they were about to turn and cross the street. Josh and Kate left but Zayn and Ashley were about to cross.

"Run guys" I said and we all started running.

Zayn was running faster than Ashley because Ashley of course was wearing 3 inch heels.

We turned corners and when we got to Savannahs house we opened the gate quickly and ran to the backyard.

Savannah got the key out and while we were walking inside, we heard Zayn say: "Where are you, you little bitches"

When we got inside we looked outside from the window and since the window was a crack open we could hear their talking.

"Zayn we fucking lost them" Ashley said and thumped Zayn on the head.

"Well if you werent wearing fucking 3 inch heels, we could've got them!' Zayn yelled.

They continued bickering when we left the window.

I texted Harry quickly to see why he wasnt in school today.

'Hey, why werent you in school today ? :(' 

I sent the text and went into the living room.

I felt my phone vibrate and looked to see I got a message from Harry.

'I had some stuff to do. Hey wanna go out on Saturday night?'

'Sure.....you seem suspicious' I responded back.
