The One That Got Away

Chapter 8: Six Flags and introductions

"SIX FLAGS! "I yelled

"It was worth waiting right?" Harry asked chuckling

"Yes! Let's go!" I yelled and started running towards the entrance

"Arianna! Wait up! "He yelled and I could sense that he was smiling.

When I got to the entrance, I stood in my place so Harry could catch up. "You run fast." Harry said.

"I know and you run slow." I responded back and smiled.

We walked to where we got the tickets and Harry got enough to last the day.

Once we got in I saw the ride: Green Lantern. 

"Lets go on that one! "I yelled and pointed to it.

Harry nodded his head and we walked towards it. He handed the guy the tickets needed and we got on.

We were now walking out of the ride and Harry got the shit scared out of him.

"You should've seen your face! "I said laughing.

"Oh my god. "He managed to get out without stuttering.

"That was awesome! "I yelled

We were now walking towards the food court when a ride caught my eye.

"Harry! Lets go on the SkyScreamer!" I yelled

"Are you sure? You might get freaked out. I mean look at it." Harry said pointing to the ride.

"Im gonna get scared? "I said pointing to myself. 

"Lets just go on it." Harry said and we started walking in the direction it was in.

We got to the front and Harry gave the woman the tickets. We went and sat down on the seats.

In a few seconds we started going up a little and we started spinning. "Not so bad is it?" I said. But it will go higher and spin faster.

"Y-ya." Harry stuttered

In a matter of seconds we were up in the air screaming and Harry looked terrified. I looked at the people in front of us to see that they were a couple. I smiled to myself thinking that me and Harry might end up being like that.

I felt something grasp my wrist so I turned around to see that it was Harry. "You okay?" I asked

"Y-y-aa." He stuttered." Don't worry. It'll end soon." I said

When we were in the middle, all of a sudden it stopped." What's happening?" I asked.

"I don't know. "Harry said

"Everyone! "Someone screamed from below. We all looked down to see it was a guy. "Everyone! The ride has stopped! We need to fix it and it will take about 45 minutes to an hour." He screamed again with the bullhorn.

I turned to Harry to see he probably shitted his pants." Its fine Harry. You have me". I said and smiled.

"I know." He said 

"So I guess we are gonna be stuck up here for a while". I said

"Ya". Harry responded

They have now fixed the ride and we are getting off. The 45 ,minutes we were stuck up there,it wasn't so bad. We chatted with the other people in front and in back of us and Harry didn't think about how high we were.

"What time is it?" I asked Harry

"It is........ADVENTURE TIME! "He yelled.  

We got stares from people but we shrugged it off. Meanwhile I was laughing my ass off.

'No but seriously, what time is it?" I asked when I caught my breath.

"It is, 4:52." Harry said

"Oh, so do we have time for one more ride?" I asked him.

"Ya but let's make sure that its ok to ride before we get stuck again." Harry said and chuckled.

Harry turned up the radio and I Knew you were Trouble by Taylor Swift came on. 

"Oh god, change this! "I said.

I didn't like Taylor swift. She wrote songs about her break ups and they were the most annoying songs everrr.

"I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE WHEN YOU WALKED INN. "Harry sang off key.

"OOOOH OHHH TROUBLE TROUBLE TROUBLEEE". He continued singing

I reached and shut the radio off and saw that it was 5:30.

"Harry how much longerrrr". I complained.

"Uh I don't know." Harry said

In 5 minutes we reached an unfamiliar house." Harry, where are we? "I asked

"My house. My mum wants to meet you." He said

I froze. He wanted me to meet his mum? Wow! Wait oh my god. He wants me to meet his mum. We aren't even dating. Are we?

He grabbed my hand and we went inside. Once I stepped in I was greeted by a middle aged woman.

"Oh! You must be Arianna! Harry has said so much about you! "She said

"I'm Anne. "She said. "And this is Gemma. "She said and pointed to a young girl. Nice to meet you "Gemma" said.
