The One That Got Away

Chapter 23

~the next day~

I wake up and find that Daniella isn't in we bed. I hear a click and the door opens.

"Oh hey. " She says.

"Hey where'd you go?" I ask Daniella.

"Starbucks. They have one downstairs." She says and lifts the coffee up in her hands.

"Oh thanks" I say.

She hands me my drink and then takes a seat on her bed.

"So what do you want to do? I ask.

"I don't know. Why don't we just kind of explore this little island " she responds.

"Ok " I say.

The whole day me and Daniella go around the island looking at cool things. We shopped at a few stores they had and I picked something up for Emily.

"Hey let's go in here. " Daniella tells me.

It's a little clothing and jewelry store an when we walk in, something catches my eye.

I go over to it and see what they say. They are two sweatshirts that say He's mine and she's mine and has arrows pointing at eachother.

I pick it up and go to the register.

"29.75 please. " The cashier says. I hand him the money and go to find Daniella.

"Hey Arianna wouldn't these be cute for you and Harry?" she asks pointing to something.

She points to two rings that say exactly the same thing as the sweatshirts I just bought say.......and what?

"Daniella..what?" I say.

"It would be cute for you and Harry. " She says casually.

"Who's Harry?" I ask pretending.

"Your boyfriend...." she says.

"How did you find out? I ask

"It's obvious plus why would you go to the diner with him two dates,...." she rambles.

"How do you know about that stuff?" I ask.

"Mom. " She simply says.

Ugh why did my mom tell her?

We had dinner at the same place we did last night and when we get back to our room I change and fall onto the bed.

"I'm guessing your tired. " Daniella says chuckling.

"Mm. " I mumble

"It's only 5:45. Aren't you hungry?" she asks.

"A little. " I mumble but it is muffled from my face in the pillow.

"Let's go grab a quick bite and then you can come back and sleep however long you want. " Daniella says chuckling.

"Fine" I say.

I get dressed in a plain black flowy skirt and a white tank top with my black sandals.

Nothing special going on.

We get downstairs and when we are waiting to order we see two guys walking in.

Daniella starts cracking up and I look closer to see they are holding hands.

I start laughing too and we grab some peoples attention.

"Sorry. " I say still laughing a little.

The guys sit at the table next to us an one of them smiles at me and Daniella.
