The One That Got Away

Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

 We got to school and got our schedules. I had 1 class with Emily, 2 with Savannah, and 2 classes with both of them.

"I heard there is a new kid." Savannah told me. "Oh thats cool. "I said.

Me and Emily headed to first period which was Science. Me and Emily sat in the second table in the middle. Some boy sat in front of us with an empty seat next to him. The teacher came in with a boy with green eyes, curly hair, and well fitted body.

"I think thats the new kid." Emily whispered in my ear.

"Class, this is a new student. His name is Harry Styles"

".Hi!" Everyone said together.

"Harry, take a seat next to Jim. Well, the seat in front of Arianna." He walked to his new seat and me and Emily gave him a smile. He smiled back a little but i could tell he was shy.

"Ok now lets start class." Mr. Harris said.

Great! Here goes one full boring period.

It was lunch and me, Savannah, and Emily sat at our table that we have been sitting in since last year. I looked at my schedule and saw i had 5 classes with Harry. "Wow." i whispered.

"What is it?" Savannah asked me. "Oh its just that i have 5 classes with Harry." I said.

I looked over my shoulder to see that Harry was sitting all by himself at a lunch table. I felt kind of bad for him. I got back to eating my lunch and in a matter of minutes, the bell rang.

It was now Math class. Yay!

I sat in a seat in the left row in the 4th seat. It was my seat last year. Harry came in and took the seat in back of me.

The whole class was boring. The teacher spoke mad fast i almost couldnt catch up. I was a good student in math but i didnt unserstand a thing the teacher was saying.

The bell rang and me and Harry were the last people out of the class. "Arianna, Harry?" Ms.Marine asked.

"Yes?" me and Harry said.

"The principal wanted to see you two." What did we do? Its the first day.

I told Savannah and Emily to wait outside while me and Harry went to the principals office.

Harry knocked on the door and I heard the principal say 'Come in'

"Yes?" I said.

"Arianna you know the school rght?" the principal asked me

"Yes I do". I said.

'Ok. because i was wondering if you could show Harry around the school tomorrow". He said.

"Um sure". I said.

"Ok thank you". He said and we left.

"I thought we were in trouble." I said

"Yeah. Me too." Harry said

His voice was deep but soft. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"So how do you like it here?" I asked.

"Its nice. Even though i grew up here i still am not used to this place." Harry said

"I think that we could be friends cant we?" I asked

"Yeah I guess we could." He said

We exchanged numbers and both left. I think this is the start of a new friendship between me and Harry.
