The One That Got Away

Chapter 31:

"Hey!" Harry says cheerfully through the computer.

"Hey. " I respond with a smile.

Savannah sits next to me waiting impatiently for Zayn to skype her on her laptop she brought to my house.

"Harry can you do me a favor?" I ask

"Yeah anything. Even if it's coming back I will." Harry says

"Yeah I wish but can you tell Zayn to call Savannah she's impatient." I tell him.

Moments later Savannah's laptop goes off and she accepts the call quickly.

"So what are you doing?" Harry asks me.

"Oh I'm partying because that's what people do at one o'clock in the morning on a school night!" I say with a hint of sarcasm.

Harry texted me telling me he will call me once he get settled in and I was growing impatient by the minute.

I hear Harry laugh from the line before looking down.

"So do you know when you will start recording?" I ask.

"Yeah tomorrow...you don't know how much I miss you even though it's been like only hours. "Harry rambles.

The rest of the night we talk about random things and Harry tells me stories what happened on the plane ride to LA.

"Okay well it's late and I need sleep. I'll text you tomorrow morning when I wake up. " I tell Harry

"Alright sweet dreams. " Harry says before kissing the screen.

"Goodnight. " I say and I end it.

I wake up and Savannah is still sleeping so I decide to wake her up.

I check my phone first to see that I have a text from Harry.

Harry: Won't be able to text you for a couple of hours. I know you have school so text me when you finish! xx

I smile then respond.

Arianna: Ok have a good time recording ttyl.

I send the message then wake Savannah up.

"Do we need to go. " She huffs.

"Yes we missed school yesterday so we have to go. " I say as I brush my teeth. I'm already dressed and ready to go but Savannah is still in bed.

"Savannah I swear if you don't get up I will go grab ice cold water and pour it on you. " I say.

She gets up and gets dressed before we finally leave my house.

The day goes by quickly and during last period I feel my phone vibrate in my bag. I almost jump out of my seat.

When the bell rings, I pull out my phone but I frown when I see it isn't Harry.

Mom: Be home by 5! It's important.

I sigh and get into my car and drive to the library. I used to always come here when I was sad. It was like an escape. I never read when I'm at the library. I usually just stare at the wall thinking about everything that is going on in my life. It like now everything took a twist and I feel something in my guy me and Harry and going to lose eachother.

I hear my phone vibrate again and my heart leaps and when I look at my phone again, my heart sinks deeper.

Mom: Your going to be late! Arianna where are you?
