The One That Got Away

Chapter 20:

We are all sitting down in Emily's basement on the couches because her younger brother needed to go to sleep.




Austin, Harry, and Niall came a few minutes ago and we are all just talking.




I don't know why Niall came but it seems better with one more person.




While we are all laughing at something Niall said, my phone starts ringing.




I look down and see my moms caller ID. I forgot to tell her I'm sleeping over Emily's house.




"Who is is?" Savannah asks.




"My mom I forgot to tell her about tonight. I'll be right back. " I say and walk into the bathroom not closing the door all the way.




"Hello?' I say.




"Arianna? Where are you? I got worried. " She says.




I'm surprised she was worried considered her 'perfect' little daughters are back!




"I'm at Emily's house. I'm sleeping over. Sorry but I forgot to tell you because we just left." I respond.




"Who's there?" she asks.




"Probably Harry!" I hear Brooke yell.




"Is Harry there Arianna?" my mom asks.




"Oh my god no! It's only me, Savannah, Emily and Stephanie. And can you tell Brooke to shut the hell up!" I say and lie.




"Ok good and your right." She says.

"Brooke stop its home of your business what your sister is doing." I hear my mom say to my sister.




I get that Brooke is 15, almost 16 but she need to get the hell out of my life.




"I need to go. Bi." I say and hang up after my mom says bi.




I walk out and see everyone looking at me.




"What?" I say chuckling.




"Arianna. Really it's only me,you, Savannah and Stephanie?" Emily asks laughing.




"Well do you want my mom to know that they are here too so she can curse me out?" I say an point to the three boys.




"Oh and while I was talking to my mom and she asked me who was here i heard Brooke say: 'probably Harry is here!" I said mocking her voice.




"Well I am here. " Harry says from beside me.




"I know...but I don't need my mom coming here dragging me back to my house because you guys are here. " I respond.
