The One That Got Away

Chapter 18:

I wake up I my mom yelling.




"Arianna!' I hear her yell.




Wow I took a nap? I check the time and see its 5:50.




"What?!" I scream.




"Come down for dinner!" she yells.




"I ate before! I'm not that hungry!' I lie. It's not an entire lie but me and Harry went to Starbucks at 3 and I don't know why I just said I'm not hungry because I'm starving.




"Come down now!" she yells.




I sigh and leave my room and go downstairs. Everyone is at the dining room table an I go into the kitchen where my mom is setting up the plates.




I grab a plate full of food and I grab a fork and make my way upstairs.




"Arianna! You are not eating upstairs. Go to the table. " I hear my dad say from the living room.




"No thanks. " I say and start going up the stairs.




"Get back down here and eat at the table" my mom says.




'I guess I won't be eating" I say and go out my plate onto the table in the middle.




I go back upstairs and lock my door.

I text Harry to see if he wants to go get something to eat.




Arianna:Are you free tonight?

Harry:Yes. Why?

Arianna:Can we go get something to eat. I don't care where it is I just need food.

Harry:Aren't your sisters and their boyfriends there?

Arianna: I'm not eating with them.

Harry: Ok fine meet me at the diner by your house.

Arianna:Ok




I stay in my jeans from today and change into a sweatshirt and put my uggs on. I don't really need to get dressed to go to a diner.




I grab my bag and stuff my phone into it and go downstairs.




When I reach the door I hear my mom say "Where are you going?"




"Out. " I say while about to open the door.




"With who?" she asks.




"No one" I say and open the door.




"Who Arianna?" my dad asks.




"Harry now goodbye. " I say and get out and close the door.
