The One That Got Away

Chapter 22

"What?" I say out loud to make sure I heard correctly.

"I want you to come with me. " She says simply.

"Why..?" I ask.

"Because I haven't seen you in a while and I want to catch up even though I know you don't want to. " She responds.

"Ok...." I say and get up.

"Arianna how did you get this?" my mom asks.

"I have money saved up. " I respond.

I go upstairs to my room and realize something.

Arianna:Which day is the sleepover?

Stephanie: Um Friday to Saturday or maybe Saturday to Sunday.

Arianna: I can't make it on Friday can we have it on Saturday?

Stephanie: Yeah sure but tell me why first.

Arianna: Just let's oovoo with Savannah and Emily so I can tell you guys.

Stephanie: Ok I'm logging on now.

I log onto oovoo and see that Emily and Stephanie are on. Minutes later Savannah logs on.

I get the call and answer it.

"Hey girl now tell us.!" Emily screams.

"Ok well I-" before I can finish, Brooke bursts into my room.

"Uh may I help you?" I ask her.

"Nothing I need to do homework and this is the only room I can do it. " She responds.

"Diner?"I hear Savannah say.

"Yup meet us there Arianna. " Emily says and they all end the call.

I stay in the clothes I wore for school and leave my house.

When I get to the diner, Emily is there.

"Hey. " She says.

"Hey. " I respond back.

Soon enough Savannah and Stephanie come and I explain everything to them.

"Are you freaking serious?" Emily half screams

"Yes now shut up!" I say back.

"Why you though? No offense but she's been gone?" Savannah tells me.

"I guess she wants to catch up" I say.

"Then they should've at least called you to see how you were doing. " Savannah says again.

When i get home, everyone is eating.

"Arianna are you hungry?" my dad asks.

"A little. "I say and sit down between my mom and Brooke.

"So who's mystery man?" Brooke says smirking.

"Who the hell is mystery man?" I ask.

"That guy...what was his name? Harry!" Brooke says.

"Uh so we are leaving tomorrow. " I tell Daniella trying to change the subject

"Arianna! Stop changing the subject!" Brooke yells.

"Im not and I got to go pack. " I say running up the stairs.

I did my homework and now all I have to do is pack a bunch of stuff.

I pack jeans, shorts, a sweater just in case a few baiting suits, shirts, a dress, a skirt, a dress shirt, tank tops, my high heels, flats and flip flops.
