A/N: We have the first chapter now. I am really obsessed with ice-skating and so I planned on making a story on it. I assure you it won't be boring. The first chapter is in the POV of 8-year old Lizzie. It will give you the idea of the entire story. The next chapter will be happening in the present. So well, please give it a read. Critisicms are welcome. Do comment. Thank you :) Enjoy~

Chapter 1

The snowflakes kept falling on the wet ground. Everything around was foggy as I watched outside through the window of my car. I turned to look at my hands and started rubbing them. It was a long ride back to my home town. My mother was driving the car and she turned up the radio. The song reminded me of my daddy singing it to mommy. Good ol' times, I thought.

My parents had a divorce—so was I told—right after I turned 4. Since then, they never met but only during winters she drops me at his place in London. She only drops. Not stays. And I never question her. It has been four years now and they don't show any sign of getting back together. I love my time with daddy. He can be the sweetest father ever. And I wouldn't forget to mention he's an awesome figure skater. He had been in Olympics too. To me it was funny—I have no idea why. When he's on the ice ring, he completely looks like a girl. But I never mentioned it to anyone. Now stop laughing at my daddy. It's not funny.

"Mommy, are we there yet? I can't wait to see daddy"

"Hold on sweetheart. Just a few minutes more." She replied.

I pouted as I turned away looking outside the window. I had to wait a little more.

I felt someone shake me. They called out my name and it was really faint in my ears. Suddenly, it got clear and I processed the voice I heard. I blinked my eyes and finally looked around to see my mother sigh.

"Oh Lizzie, You're finally awake. Maybe you got very tired due to long drive. Anyways, we are here now" She spoke.

"Are we? Where's daddy?"

"He just took your bags inside. He'll be here any second." She replied.

I was really excited hearing that. I jumped on my seat as I spotted my daddy make his way towards us. He had a huge grin stuck permanently on his face as he waved at me. I remembered his blonde hair and his perfectly carved face. He was really an angel. My mother was a brunet but I could never chose who was the most prettiest face. Both of them were my favorites.

"Daddy!!" I shouted through the window. If not for the child-lock, I would have opened the door and ran towards him. Finally, he was here and he opened the door for me. I jumped outside and in his arms. I hugged him tightly. "Daddy!" I shouted again.

"Hey sugar-pie, how have you been? You look as healthy and as pretty as ever" He gave me a kiss on my cheeks. I blushed slightly.

"I'm your Snow-white after all" I said as he chuckled.

"You sure are Liz and always will be. Now who wants to taste my cookies?"

"You baked cookies for me?!"

"I have learnt to bake delicious cookies. Let's go get them!"

"Yay!"

My daddy looked at mommy as she walked towards us. Oh yeah, I forgot to wish her goodbye. I ran to her and hugged her.

"I'll be seeing you soon, huh?" She whispered in my ears.

"Yes, I love you mommy"

"I love you too, hunny. I'll miss you" She said as I let her go.
